  1. I mean I'm a Madonna fan and I don't really care for Gaga either but you don't have to make stuff up to prove your points there's plenty that's happened in real life if you wanted to go there can the admins start forcing you to provide a source for your claims cause i think we're all getting tired of this
  2. This is why we stan Wendy Williams she acts the same on and off camera, and even if you don't like her, at least she's being genuine
  3. I follow her but never saw her post this and can't find anyone else on twitter backing up this up @Spicechinodiva no disrespect but you're constantly posting false "news" with no evidence it feels like you just like to make things up to incite drama
  4. this whole thread is reminding me of this moment it's like she does seem like a nice person deep down but i just feel like so much is calculated and fake and overly dramatic to me she reminds me of a theater kid from high school except she never grew out of that phase i also agree w what was said earlier that she acts like her life is this giant tragedy and her becoming a pop star is her salvation or something like you grew up on the Upper East Side of Manhattan as a wealthy white woman and went to NYU she plays the victim constantly, i just can't stand celebrities who do that she's an amazing talent tho
  5. this whole post is sending me when you talk about the face she makes on the red carpet i'm pissing i had never thought about that before but it's so accurate
  6. i don't think she deserved to be dragged or anything but it is kind of like a "read the room..." situation like it was weird seeing everyone mourning on twitter and then her tweet where she's dancing and smiling pops up i can understand why it's upsetting to some people i think in general people are getting tired of celebrities right now, it's a sensitive time
  7. i feel like the only explanation is she was feeling desperate to seem cool and saw that using the word was trendy at the time (which it kind of was for dumb white people) and maybe she didn't think the word without the hard r was taken seriously
  8. that's true actually. you can tell whenever she uses a culture in her music or fashion that she's always well educated and genuinely interested in said culture. i guess that makes me even more confused about why she would use the n word in early 2014, isn't she a really well educated person who would know better than that? was she just trying to be edgy? did people back then just not care? I mean i know a lot of celebrities have used to the n word on social media from that era but at least they had the excuse of being teenagers at the time, Madonna was in her 50s. I don't believe she's a racist at all so that's why i find it confusing.
  9. well, in early 2014 she called her white kid that word which I think is an important distinction to make, not that that excuses what she said at all. That was definitely a terrible thing for her to say and I think one of the moments i'm most ashamed of as a Madonna fan. there was a big controversy over this in 2014 and she apologized, but I think the general public forgot about it mostly. I'm kinda scared tho that with this happening people are bringing that up again, i really don't want to wake up tomorrow to a #MadonnaIsOverParty as for cultural appropriation she hasn't really done anything that every other white popstar hasn't done as well, and she's from a time where the idea of cultural appropriation wasn't on people's consciousness. and at least she hasn't criticized black culture after appropriating it like Miley Cyrus and Billie Eillish have.
  10. I mean I thought the video was kind of cringey but Twitter is making wayyyyyy to big of a deal about this A lot of the GP hate Madonna so they'll take any opportunity to sh-t on her people are just being outraged for the sake of being outraged
  11. please, Bjork has been extremely influential in the music industry and it's clear Gaga (along with many other artists) take inspiration from her. not that there's anything wrong with that in itself, but the idea of a popular artist copying one of Bjorks shoots is not that far fetched especially because she's not a mainstream artist and therefore the copying would be less noticed by the general public
  12. i don't have to dig for them they just pop up on my timeline ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and come on, maybe the first two pics are a stretch but the last two... same outfit, same pose, same green and pink color scheme...
