  1. I'm not sure how much this impacts Charlie's lack of mainstream success nowadays, but on my Twitter feed, people were really turned off by his comments surrounding Selena Gomez/Attention/How Long. Again, maybe this was just a small thing, but I feel like that may have impacted his lack of success?
  2. Some of these comments saying he's "brave" and that she's a "trainwreck"...Yikes. There are much classier and more respectful ways to address the fact that he's marrying her and loves her, even with her battles with mental health and substance abuse.
  3. This is terrible. I've seen so many passionate tweets today to get #FreeBritney trending...I think we should also direct some energy and tag @USAToday and the author of the article (her handle is @devonslink). Please do not shame or attack them, but please do ask them to dig deeper or reconsider/revise/take down their article. This isn't about fans being obsessed and creating conspiracies. This is a human rights issue.
  4. My siblings don't really care either way, which is weird because my sister introduced me to her (she had the Oops CD and would always play it in the car when we were younger). They know I love Britney, but they don't give me a hard time. My mom doesn't really care, either, but she let me skip school once in middle school to watch Britney's Femme Fatale performances on GMA Surprisingly, the person who has the strongest opinion of her is my dad, and he says nothing but good things about her. When I told him I wanted to go to watch her live during dinner once (this was during her Circus era), he went off about how talented she really is, how nobody appreciates her talent, and how sad it is that the media tore her apart. I was shook - in a good way! My dad loves music and has no problem criticizing artists (especially about their vocal talent), so to hear him praise her like that was that much more special to me
  5. Britney is appearing in court that day regarding the conservatorship (https://www.etonline.com/britney-spears-conservatorship-extended-due-to-coronavirus-pandemic-145208)
  6. I initially wasn't a fan of the song, but it's grown on me a lot. And while it doesn't make or break the song for me, I think the emotional connection each have to the song (and each other) is really meaningful. It was a fun fact I liked reading about (after already determining I liked the song). Don't know how LG x Britney would've sounded. I almost feel like AG x Britney might sound better for this particular track.
  7. I thought having her daughter there was an interesting - but random - move, too. Then I saw comments about the political undertone of that section. JLo was making a statement about the current political climate and how children are being put in cages (seen by the children singing in the cage contraptions). Apparently JLo really put her foot down with putting that segment in because a lot of people tried to persuade her to leave the politics out. I admit JLo seems like a diva (even though she was super sweet when I met her), but I have to give her mad props and respect for sticking with what she believes in and using her platform on the Super Bowl stage to spread a message!
  8. I disagree with the comments people have made about her being unprofessional. Firstly, it seems like drunk Chad had kept doing it up until this point, but this clip shows just one "G-Eazy!" comment that pushed Halsey over the edge. Second, G-Eazy treated her like ****. He cheated on her. It's clear by the smile on Chad's face that he just wanted a reaction, and it's sad that he pushed her to this point. I can't imagine trying to do what you love for a crowd full of people are actually fans and then have some annoying drunk guy scream your trash ex's name to get a reaction out of you. Have some decency, people. She's still a person. Personally, I say "Go Halsey!" for sticking up for herself and putting him in his place.
  9. I saw a post about someone submitting a Free Britney report to the UN Human Rights Council. Here’s a link: https://www.psychvictims.com/articles/view/free-britney-spears-report-sent-to-un-human-rights-council?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf Thoughts?
  10. Don't they hate her? EDIT: The embed didn't work so here's a link to the tweet https://twitter.com/RecordingAcad/status/1054004375637626882
