  1. 1. Levitating 2. Love again 3. Break my heart 4. Pretty please 5. Future nostalgia 6. Cool / Hallucinate 7. Don't start now 8. Physical 9. Boys will be boys 10. Good in bed DSN is actually top tier but I've just overplayed it so much over the past few months so the other songs are shining harder at the moment. BMH was such a good single choice, the song's great enough on its own but that video just elevated it to the next level. Album of the year indeed
  2. This is gorgeous and the colors really capture that 80's vibe
  3. So it's true... Never thought I would be alive to witness this day
  4. Me Against The Music feat. Janet Jackson would've been F I R E
  5. I Run Away Why Should I Be Sad What You Need I know the last two are probably unpopular options but I can't help it y'all
  6. The best version is when she walks the fine line between both of them. I remember Joseph Kahn talking about a scene in Toxic during the air hostess segment. She kisses a child on the head which seems so pure and homely, and then she turns around and cheekily spills a drink on the man's crotch which is a sudden, ****** contrast. For any gaze (particularly ones with a Madonna/***** complex), it was like seeing the best of both worlds rolled into one woman.
  7. Here's a cute questionnaire she filled out in 1999 Sidenote: I've read the audition story you mentioned and it just creeped me out tbh. She was just 15 years old and the guy's comments were just really inappropriate.
  8. At this point, I'm like 50/50 on whether they recorded something together. JT is expected to put out new music towards the end of the year so I guess we'll know then.
  9. Perfection I love INAGNYAW and it's kinda saddening that the song became obsolete to perform due to the lyrics.
  10. I'm guessing it was to compensate for the ****** nature of her videos, outfits and performances. People were really hard on her because she had millions of young female fans and it concerned people that she was being an inappropriate influence on them. Like the comment above said, the BOMT era was subtle with sexuality with the exception of her Rolling Stone shoot. The public essentially forced her into the box of a role model (something which she said she never wanted to be) and you can see how if might have affected her in that video where she watched people criticizing her 2000 VMA performance. I believe she answered the virginity question with a lie out of the mere pressure of the public.
  11. I think it was shortly before he got with Britney and she got with Jay. I also remember JT introducing Beyonce at some event (2003 I think?) by saying "please welcome my future baby mama" so it must've become a running gag between all of them
  12. La La La Love me La La La Love me La La La Love me D O W N (DOWN)
