  1. I don't understand the logic of Larry telling her not to speak, like what would've she said if she was upset? I think Britney is more professional than that. And we could see it when she was trying to greet the fans and sign their stuff (until that guy rushed her to the car), she didn't look super happy, but was still making an effort for the fans.

  2. Gross. I still think she’s beautiful. the question that SHOULD be being asked is...”if Britney is so gravely incapacitated, how is it ok for someone to approve plastic surgery?” serious question. If someone’s grandparent under a guardianship/conservatorship wanted some fillers or a nose job, would that be allowed? Or is it only ok because Britney is a public figure and her team thinks attempts to reverse natural aging are going to keep her relevant and thus continue making them money? It wouldn’t surprise me at all if her team talked her into any plastic surgery, but the reality is that under her conservatorship and how disabled the California court system makes her seem, it shouldn’t have been allowed and seems extremely unethical.

  3. Hmm. Yeah, that's odd. And the NYT doc said she was supposed to perform that night, which was the first I'd heard of that. I only thought she was supposed to address the crowd. Would be nice to have more context around that. Like, why tf was she unable to talk exaclty? And did she not want to be there because of that/something related to all that or something else?

  4. I was always under the impression Britney didn’t speak that night because there were mic problems. Mario Lopez kept getting cut out and the audio had a slight delay. I figured they thought they should just try to get Britney on and off stage as quickly as possible to avoid doing an interview that would be plagued with mic problems. I guess not? Maybe she was threatening to say her show was inspired by freedom, ruptured colons, and lining other’s pockets

  5. It was cancelled the day of, as there’s footage out there of a stand-in doing a run through and learning what the new run-of-show (or lack there of) was going to be. There were several dancers there (off to the sides as you can see in that photo above), lighting, lots more than what we were given. The Ellen Degeneres appearance was also supposed to be more than that awkward “announcement of an announcement” - not a performance or anything like that - but from what I understand, B didn’t do the full moment as planned (which you can tell from Ellen’s reaction). Whether she just got excited/anxious and forgot or went rogue, who knows. I would love to believe the latter but it was most likely the former.

  7. People always say it was Britney's decision to exit the stage and exit the whole event but did they even watch the stream? She's clearly told exactly what to do and who to talk by her security They point her to give autographs, then the guy tells exactly who to speak and who he is (the host guy whose name I forget). And then they take her to the car and the event is over. It looks like even the host is getting told in real time that she exits the event because he looks surprised. Maybe she originally was supposed to give a speech and talk to press but something happened behind the scenes that pissed team C so they just made her the careless diva villain of the situation.

  8. Seems like whatever the context was here was the last straw for Britney.

  9. this is big... this is the type of stuff that's going to start coming out much more... do we have reports about this behavior from Britney herself? nope, she is always described as professional, in and out, doing her job to the best and leaving. she deserves this to all be brought to the light. she has "behaved" long enough.. lock this "Man" up. now.

  10. "... It's more about the people around Britney, there's a lot of conversation around her business manager, and the role they may have played in the conservatorship and managing Britney's money [...] It would be really interesting to explore further". This is the third time I've heard her and Samantha talk about Lou Taylor on an interview, they are definitely curious about her role and what she has done.

  12. I'm not sure why people are asking what she'd be upset about? How about announcing a new residency when she didn't want to, because she was still under her father's control, and literally being told what she was allowed to say. She probably told them she wasn't even going go do the announcement, so they took some photos and left. a few months later and she's checked into a facility. I'm not gonna say "this poor woman".... because Britney doesn't need people's pity. She's strong as hell. I'm just so ******* angry for her that stories like this have to keep coming out, yet nothing is changing.

  13. Britney's dad Jamie reportedly acted like a "commander" during her Las Vegas shows. It's being claimed he even "growled" at her sons and staff were scared of him, an ex-crew member named Daniel reveals to The Sun. "He was there all the time, and he went to every show. We all knew that we had to be on top of our game when he was around. No matter what." "When I first met him, he was very pleasant, he was nice. I was like, 'Oh, it's Britney's dad, that's so cool.' "And then after a while it was just, 'Okay, he's kind of scary. I don't want to help him. Can somebody else go talk to him?'" "He acted like a commander, it was very intimidating and uncomfortable when he was around." "He ran a tight ship and everyone was on their best behavior. When I had to talk to him, I was very nervous, I was like, 'Ok, yes sir.'" "After we worked there for a while he started treating us more like the help, he wasn't very polite anymore." "He would just come up to us, demand things and then walk away." "I think he doesn't really care about Britney's well-being, he just cares about what he's getting out of it." "I don't think he should have anything to do with controlling her money or what she does as a person." The source alleges he saw Jamie "growl" at Britney's sons in front of staff at their store in early 2014, resulting in everyone being stunned into silence. "I remember specifically when her kids were with him and another woman, and the kids were being a little rambunctious, he growled very angrily in a deep voice at them and they stopped immediately," he said. "They were shocked and it weirded me out. When he left, I remember looking at my boss like, 'Wow, that was funny, but in a scary way, what the hell just happened?'"

  14. I think they've been promising her the conservatorship would end since the Circus tour. And then they promised her it would end after: - FF Tour - X-Factor - POM Leg #1 - POM Leg #2 - POM Summer Tour - Domination I believe Britney has always used her performances as a bargaining chip to get out of the conservatorship. So just imagine what might have happened when she realized that Jamie had signed the Domination contract without also filing paperwork in the probate court? Then imagine what happened when Britney realized that, just like POM, her Domination contract was signed under "Atara Tours, LLC" instead of "Britney Touring, LLC." "Britney Touring, LLC" is Britney's old company. "Atara Tours, LLC" is Jamie's company. Britney and Ingham backed Jamie into a corner with this one...and it appears to be a brilliant move.

  19. This this THIS! I, too, am always a bit surprised when people say Britney probably didn't want to do the show. To me, the fact that she was rehearsing early and even getting involved in the choreo was proof that she was into it. She was probably craving something different from POM (as we all were). Also, the guy who left the voicemail for BritneysGram also said the show was canceled as punishment for Britney refusing to take her meds. It all makes sense. I was really, truly looking forward to Domination. She was more involved and when she has more control (like with Glory), she's more engaged and puts out her best work. Her vision + NappyTabs' direction was probably going to be stellar. She was performing songs she hadn't performed in years (or ever before)... She was helping with choreography and auditioning dancers... Brand new stage, costumes, set list... A fan's dream... Sad we didn't get to see it, but glad that it was the beginning of the end of her imprisonment.

  20. I watched the Britney doc. Obviously there is a lot to parce on a sociological level - I almost cried five times during that. There is a debate on whether the times in and on themselves kind of encased this behavior - It's kind of hard to go back into sap and cut into it - because it is sort of suspended in Amber, some of this stuff. But to see the sadness in this human being. I mean, I was on the edge of tears because if you understand what this business / industry / lifestyle does to a person - to go through this and come out the other side okay is to have infinite grace for those who struggle with it. I came out okay. I have feeling that part of that is because I am a man. I have a very strong feeling that part of that is because I am a man. And I have a very strong feeling that a lot of these things that happen to female performers is endemic to being female. Why do so many men emerge, "yes, I've learned my lesson. yes I got dinked in the head. but I'm back baby!"? I watched this with so much grace for someone who got much more maligned by the inhuman experiment of fame than I did. And I go, "why did I get through that? why did I find my way through that obstacle? what was afforded to me stylistically... the stylistic difference of being an "outlaw"". If you are a man, you're an "outlaw". If you're a woman, you're kind of crazy. And when I watched that through that lens, my heart just ached the whole time.

  21. So I found this blog post regarding cases where Judge Penny just stay silent and did nothing on conservatorship abuse: https://britneyspears.courtvictim.com/index.php/exposed/britney-spears-conservatorship/victims-speak-out/gertrude-gettinger/ I know this is a rather cheap source, but despite every press and publicity surrounding Britney’s case, Judge Penny never question the validity of Britney’s conservatorship. I bet if there is no NYT specials, Jamie would become her sole conservatorship ousting Bessemer trust. What’s funny is every Judge that is appointed on Britney’s case, they are all tagging along in this play. That Streisand guy is so pressed for not being given transparency regarding Britney’s medical record. And considering the biggest reason why Britney is in conservatorship is due to her medical condition, this sounds very.. orchestrated. Does anybody know if LA court have a list of conservatorship cases that’s under Judge Penny, and so we can see the pattern in her behaviour? After seeing that Rosemund Pike’s movie, I’m sure that Britney is only the tip of the iceberg. Conservatorship is something that’s insidiously integrated in probate law system and maintained by important figures. Kinda like how pedophiles is so protected within church system. There’s always a pattern of lawyers and judge that is participating in this corrupt cases. Hell, if we have enough data, we could send these to NYT, the Guardian, or even Ronan Farrow himself for a spotlight.

  22. I believe that until Jamie had a restraining order against the kid he almost hit, they got britney to work by threatening to take the kids away and once she lost custody %, they lost leverage on her.

  24. Yes. This is what we need to keep on happening - people/ex employees are beginning to speak out with anecdotes against Jamie because the documentary and subsequent growth of the movement is empowering them ❤️

  29. we know nothing to this day, but what the paralegal said in the voicemail is that Jamie pulled off the show because Britney was not taking the medication. Of course no one confirmed this, but down the road, TMZ seemed to "confirm" this when they kept talking about finding the "right cocktail" of medication for Britney, that she was refusing to take. I know, TMZ, but at the time they seemed to be like the unofficial spokesmen of Jamie, always citing their "close source" that knew everything about the situation (which always favored Jamie).

  30. We will see if it turns out to be true i guess. i doubt the documentary would have false info in it? then again... someone help me with this, because i can't remember the correct timeline to save my life. we know britney was upset around that time because she didn't want her medication and generally just upset with how things were, correct? i dont think she was upset at the show itself, but rather whatever was happening at the same time. didn't Jamie threaten her that he would cancel the show, was it around that time? it also isn't shocking at all that her team controlled her that day, they always do. remember xfactor? Jason, her boyfriend, followed her around like a lost puppy to make sure she wouldn't dare sign any autographs etc, pretty sure there's footage out there of him pulling her along and/or telling her no. no difference between that and security telling her no or her team telling her not to talk. whether there was a performance or not, i don't really care about that part. my question is, what do those people consider as 'very upset'. I do believe she was, but there was no need to silence her. but when is there ever a need for that. team con always likes to go overboard, hence freebritney. britney is a professional, but it's precisely because of this that sometimes we might think things are ok or not as bad when they really are bad.

  31. I agree, it was a Waterdown Dessert announcement, but in my opinion, Britney again just didn't seem into whatever her team planned, I guess that happens when you have no control, she was just told what to do, and that can be awkward, even when she is on top of the stairs and they had the mic issue, she looked so awkward, like she didn't know what she needed to do next

  37. THANK YOU!!!! something about Glory/Domination screamed Britney trying to take control of her career but she wasn’t allowed to. We obviously know what happened with Glory but Domination was different. I know some fans say the aesthetics, name, everything about Domination was “off brand” but I never thought that. It felt very “Britney” to me. But “Britney” in the sense that Britney herself came up with it, not the “Britney” that her team usually markets to us. I just couldn’t ever figure what went wrong with the Domination era. Everything about it felt “rogue”. Like the weird advertisements to even the advertisements for Prerogative like @PokemonSpearssaid. It felt like her team abandoned her when it came to the marketing and she was doing **** herself. Instead of promo pics and trailers for the residency we got cell phone videos of rehearsals. Instead of more commercials (like the official one we got) we got Britney standing in front of her Christmas tree saying “I’m so excited for Domination!” I think you hit the nail on the head about Britney being pissed about the contract and her not signing it and it not being in her company. I never thought of that

  39. If you look in the video where she was walking through the red carpet, you can see her many times reach her hand out to sign a fans poster or merch of her, but her security guards hold her back. There was a Britney fan whom wanted his Baby One More Time vinyl signed by Britney but when she went to sign it, her guards literally pushed the man aside. This was clearly Team Con's disgusting plan for all this BS allegedly . No doubt Britney was upset, she has always cared about her fans experiences except for those M&G experiences but we don't talk about them :demi: so obviously she would be so disappointed of how the whole event went with people just standing there and she didn't even say a word.
