One thing that does infuriate me about the reporting by the media, they NEVER mention the altercation between Britney's father and her son, and the fact that both children have a restraining order against him. I mean FFS the man has issues, look at the bigger picture, report the facts and its then clear to see why Britney doesn't want him in her life.40 points

I wish they would stop with this ‘savior’ narrative they’re trying to push for Lynne. Lynne Spears is responsible for a lot of her daughters(actually her children’s) trauma ..... she legit kept them in an abusive household , pushed her daughter into pageants , let her get involved with with an older boy, then *****d her out to hollyweird all before her brain was fully developed. When she was on her press tour for her book she was painting it out to be about taking responsibility for her daughters issues, but honestly it read more like her painting herself as a mother sacrificing to make her daughters dreams come true. She never had a chance guys, and it’s sick. Based on her family history I’m sure Lynne experienced trauma in her own childhood and never dealt with it. Clearly both parents have issues coping with things (Jamie is a freaking alcoholic) in their lives and unfortunately have passed those down to their kids. Neither parent should be involved and they all need family therapy.14 points

Loving Samuel Ingham's recent decisions. Imagine if they all get removed and start getting $0 from being involved in the conservatorship??? But the question is, if The Bessemer Trust Company becomes conservatorship of the estate and Jodi Montgomery stays conservator of the person, is it going to be left like that or is Britney going to file for termination of the conservatorship?11 points

Britney's legal advocate / lawyer Sam Ingham filed documents slamming Jamie Spears' petition to bring back Andrew Wallet as co-conservator of Britney. For all intents and purposes, he is a complete stranger to Britney and is insanely expensive. Ingham also points out the exuberant fees the conservatorship team and her business managers made in 2019 and 2020 despite Britney not having performed once. That includes $426,000 a year for Britney's co-conservator. Lou Taylor's Tri Star was approved for $500,000. Jamie Spears Mr. Spears claims Britney's objections to the appointment of the conservator are full of factual misstatements. Jamie's asking the court to hold a hearing to weigh the facts, TMZ reports. Andrew Wallet "After denying for months that any structural change to this conservatorship was necessary, an hour before the last hearing James suddenly reversed direction and conceded that a co-conservator of the estate is needed after all. However, rather than work collaboratively with Britney to find the best candidate, James chose to work in direct opposition to her clear statement that she "strongly prefers to have a qualified corporate fiduciary appointed to serve in this role." "In fact, Mr. Wallets's sudden departure after 11 years was "voluntary" only in the sense that he wasn't removed. Rather, it was negotiated by court-appointed counsel for Britney and supported by consideration to Mr. Wallet in the form of a $100,000.00 "golden parachute." So, he says, adding "any individual co-conservator to this case, much less Mr. Wallet represents a very poor value that Britney cannot afford. "Apart from the fact that Mr. Wallet has been extremely expensive in the past, based on what occurred over the 11 years he served as her co-conservator there is no reason to believe that Mr. Wallet will be able to work with Britney to explain and implement any difficult budgetary choices that must be made." Tri-Star The document also fights Jamie's move at the end of 2019, when he agreed to pay Tri Star Group a minimum annual fee of $500,000 despite the fact that Britney hasn't performed again since October 2018, and doesn't plan to do so at the moment. "In considering the economic impact of Mr. Wallets's return on Britney's estate, it should be noted that on December 20, 21 2019, after Mr. Wallet had departed, James modified the compensation of TRI STAR SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, the business manager, to provide for a minimum annual fee of $500,000.00," the filing says. He adds, "This amount represents more than DOUBLE the amount that Tri-Star was previously receiving." "Apparently this frugality does not extend to the fees James pays from the conservatorship to the financial professionals with whom he surrounds himself." You can read the full article at The Blast. The pressure from the #FreeBritney movement due to the conservatorship Britney Spears is in has caused a strain in the Spears family. “Britney’s family is at war with each other and it’s all because of the conservatorship,” a source tells Us Weekly. “Britney is remarkably resilient and is very engaged in the conservatorship, whereas in years prior, she wasn’t at all,” the source tells Us. “She would never ask questions about it or go to court.” They add that Lynne, who is on Britney's side, and in direct opposition of her ex-husband Jamie, “wants a care plan established that would transition Britney’s personal life out of the conservatorship." "Jamie has told her that Britney needs long-term monitoring, and he doesn’t think she is prepared to take such a drastic action,” the source explains. “With the conservatorship being extended until the beginning of 2021, Jamie was relieved because all he wants is to keep Britney safe and at her best.” However, Britney wants her dad out of the picture. She wants more transparency and feels Jamie's attempts to keep everything a secret is a detriment to her. “Britney wants to live her life on her terms and is very displeased with the current custody arrangement,” the source tells Us. “She needs to see the boys much more than she currently is.” Related:9 points

THIS!!!! I do not have much respect for Lynne Spears. Profiting off your daughters most traumatizing years to sell a book is just so repulsive to me... and she’s getting involved now that the conservatorship is covered more in the media .. why not years ago? She didn’t know what’s been going on the past 12 years? Bye girl9 points

More like keeping her away of her own money. Drug addiction can't be used for c-ship. People can deal with this problem without major consequences like... Strip someone rights. Robert Downey Jr., Drew Barrymore, Brad Pitt, Gaga, Ben Affleck... Some celebs with severe addictions and no c-ship for any of them.8 points

I just can't believe there's still people that doubt how rich they're all getting just by getting involved in Britney's conservatorship, including Sam Ingham. People that dismiss the movement go by the "sHe NeEdS hElP" but fail to see that helping Britney is the last thing this legal charade is trying to do.8 points

Working mom! Katy Perry is “already” thinking about the next steps in her career after her and Orlando Bloom’s daughter Daisy’s birth. “She wants to submerge herself into motherhood as much as she can, but she is also not putting her career on the back burner,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly of the singer, 35. “There are already discussions about upcoming projects and work. … Katy and Orlando do have help with the baby, but Katy insists on handling almost all of the baby needs.” Source: Us Weekly8 points

Exactly. It’s a shame it’s taken this long for even the slightest of changes to happen. This is why I believe the root of movement on the part of the family is money. I think someone was made aware that something sketchy was happening with Britney’s finances and/or the trust. Lynne could’ve made moves after the Circus tour in 2009 to be involved in Britney’s treatment plan, which very well would’ve prevented Britney from further regressing once she realized the cship would be permanent. But they had to deal with the pending legal issues regarding Through The Storm and Sam Lutfi, respectively. The other thing of more importance to them was was filling up Britney’s bank account for their benefit. A conservatorship never should’ve happened. Making the conservatorship permanent for the sake of Britney’s child visitation rights & her career also never should’ve happened! When the wrong kind of people are given unchecked power the propensity for corruption, control and greed skyrocket. That’s what is happening. #FreeBritney8 points

Yeah, I mean maybe she's helping now but she was complicit for twelve years and even before, like the things you wrote. She was and probably still is a problematic mother. Now they're painting Lynne the same way they did with Jamie in 2008 against Lufti, it's the same savior narrative If you pay attention to It. Lynne is the "perfect parent", Jamie is the (only) evil one from that family, they claim if Jamie's out of the picture everything will be better like magic... I loathe Jamie, but the whole family used Britney, let's be real. To me all of this smells PR.8 points
