  1. On November 18, 2016, Britney Spears released the Slumber Party video featuring Tinashe, two days after the new version of the track was released on digital platforms. The music video was directed by Colin Tilley, a relatively new director that had already worked with people like Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj. The video was shot in October, and both Britney and Tinashe posted about it on social media. Various pictures from on set were shared, revealing the collaboration which wasn't originally on the album's tracklist. In an interview for Extra with Mario Lopez, she talked about the video saying: "[...] we just did the video and it's kinda like a younger "Eyes Wide Shut" theme. So it's kind of a little risky, it's very ****, it's very moody, and it's, um, fun! It's fun, yeah." When asked about Tinashe on an interview for MTV, Britney said: “Tinashe is so sweet. I just always see my fans talking about her online, and it just made so much sense to collaborate on this song. She was amazing, and would love to find another way to work together in the future!” On this videoshoot was where Britney Spears met actor Sam Asghari, who played the love interest in the video, and who would later become her boyfriend (and they're still together to this day). According to Sam, he didn't have to audition, instead, he got hand-picked by Britney after someone that was working on the production who was close to him, sent his pictures to the casting director. He had already appeared on Fifth Harmony's Work from Home video earlier that year. The music video premiered on her YouTube channel. Originally, fans were happy because the video used a different track than that from the digital platforms. The version of the video didn't have Britney's high pitched vocals at the end of the song. However, the audio was later replaced to match the one from iTunes, Spotify, etc. but the original version can still be found in some websites. The music video was well received by fans and critics alike, comparing it to her 2002 Boys video. For a while it was trending on YouTube, even above Shakira's Chantaje which premiered the same day, but eventually lost momentum. 4 years later, it still hasn't hit the 100M views mark. To this day, Slumber Party is Britney's latest video, and ever since its release, this has been the longest period of time without a new Britney video in her entire career (4 years and counting). Previously the longest gap between videos had been Someday (I Will Understand) - Gimme More, but Slumber Party surpassed that in 2019 .
  2. On November 16, 2016, Britney Spears "released" Slumber Party featuring Tinashe as the second single off her ninth studio album Glory. The song wasn't actually released as an individual single, instead they just replaced the original Slumber Party track (sans Tinashe) on all the digital platforms with the new version. We did eventually get a Remix EP in December though, but strangely, it didn't include the standard track, only the remixes. It was written by Mattias Larsson, Robin Fredriksson, Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, and produced by Mattman & Robin. The reggae and R&B influenced song talks about slumber parties and teenage games such as "seven minutes in heaven" as double entendre of much more adult topics It was sent to radio on November 22. The song peaked at #86 on the Billboard Hot 100, however it went #1 on the US Dance Club Songs chart and #27 on the Mainstream Top 40. It was in October of that year when Tinashe hinted to be recording vocals for a "legendary collaboration" on her social media. A few days later, it was confirmed through Britney Spears' account, that they were already filming the music video for Slumber Party, with the quote "Neighbors say we're causing a commotion..." The music video was released on November 18, so come back in two days for the celebration of that :P The first live performance of the song, was actually the same day it came out, on November 16. Britney Spears added Slumber Party to her Piece of Me show in Las Vegas. Tinashe performed the song with Britney for the first time at the KISS-FM Jingle Ball on December 2nd Then it was performed again at the Triple Ho and B96 Jingle Bash festivals. Tinashe later joined Britney at her Piece of Me show in Vegas on January 25, 2017. The song was also performed at the 2017 Britney: Live in Concert Asian Tour and the Piece of Me Tour in 2018, though it was removed from the setlist for the final dates on the latter.
  3. Hello everyone So today I was streaming Glory which is what we all should do at all times and I thought it would be interesting to re order the album a little bit I absolutely love Glory and it's in my holy trinity, but I think the order of the songs is a little wonky at times My to-go order nowadays is this, I tried to make it make sense as a story: Invitation (Brinty is ***** for this guy and she's very much out there asking for him to **** her already) Slumber Party (she teams up with her friend who's also ***** for some guy and they're having a sleepover talking about how much they wanna **** their guys) If I'm Dancing (They play Britney's Tom Dinner and she's totally surprised by the fact that that recording exists, proceeds to create an intricate armography choreo mixed with zumba) Do You Wanna Come Over? (following day, her friend convinces her to sext her crush) Man On The Moon (dramaticney had a dream about the guy last night and now she's thinking she can't compete with the kind of girls he likes) Just Luv Me (her DMs get more desperate) Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortés) (hornyney gets a **** pic back and they're fully gonna ****, she says something in Spanish cus he looks ethnic) Private Show (they meet up and do the f**king) Make Me (they continue that) Better (she's fully fallen for him because she's discovered her crush also likes to dance to Janet Jackson) Coupure Électrique (she learns some french, at this point she discovers her bf actually is french, overseas places like France, Spain and Canada are very hard to differenciate) Clumsy (they're fully doing the f**king again) What You Need (this one's actually about her children and how she's a great mother and deserves full custody) Hard To Forget Ya (going through a rough patch because her bf couldn't tell who was jayden and who was "the other one") Love Me Down (she stopped messaging him for 20 minutes after that mistake, then they ****) Just Like Me (going to pick up her kids, she finds out her bf is f**king myah marie, who has developed the ability to not only sound like Britney, she also looks exactly like her) Liar (turns out he hadn't just f**ked myah, it was also all the other ladies that sang on BJ other than Britney that didn't sound like Myah either) So I thought it'd be cool if you guys shared your re-orders and stuff you can take songs out, shuffle them however you want, add remixes if needed!
  4. Hello everyone, i covered slumber party and added my twist to the song/instrumental hope u guys like it
  5. I have seen lots of official photos from the set of slumber party on Instagram ( I would post them but I don't know how). Does anyone have the full set please
  6. It's been over a year since Glory was released, and we know that some 30 to 40 songs were recorded for the album...so why have we still not been gifted any leaks, B-sides, demo recordings, or snippets yet? I'm interested to know if she and Missy Elliott really had a collab, and what some of the original recordings sound like. Can somebody talk to somebody else and get us something??
  7. COULD HAVE BEEN A #1 Its such a banger! It should have been promoted heavily and on the radio. But once again managment dropped the ball.. Which song on "Glory" do you think is underrated?
  8. Hey guys, I did this Slumber Party remix, sorry about any sound glitches or mistakes, I'm rookie on music edition. The remix is edited and produced by me and the instrumental track is original, I really hope you guys like it...
  9. Hey, y'all. For such a long time - I have pondered (and tbh, SCOFFED AT) what Brit meant when she says "We Use our bahhdays, to make our own videos". Just recently it dawned on me that the body, or bahhday in this case, is technically the first ever camera, being that we see with our eyes which is a part of our bahhday. Our memories were technically the original videos before actual videos came out. The film b4 film if you will. So what Brit is really saying by "we use our bahhdays to make our own videos", is that we will make memories (but in a very abstract way). Ain't that cute, y'all?
  10. I was wondering, which songs were your favorites when you first heard "Glory" and did something change until today? First Listening Fave's:Liar & Change your mind. Fave's Now: Love Me Down & Slumber Party. I love almost every song tho. What about you all?
  11. Hi team! Ben Rauhala here! I just music directed and produced the two big "Broadway Loves Britney" concert at Feinstein's/54 Below in NYC this past Wednesday, and I want to share the full video Playlist from the concert with you all! I'd be honored to know what you think! We even got to perform "Slumber Party" the same night that Britney performed it for the first time. We did versions of the VMA's 2000 and 2001 performances. I did a version of "...Baby One More Time" that mashes up a bunch of our favorite concert versions. All nine albums were represented! I hope you enjoy them! They come from such a deep and loving place in my soul, and I hope my Stan qualities come across in the overall scope of the show!!! :-D!! - Ben
  12. Britney Army, it is on us to make Slumber Party a hit. I have spoken to some friends who are radio DJs, and they do not believe it will be a hit because they do not "see demand for it." But we know that is not true– we know that the public simply is not aware of it. If radio plays it, the song will have snowball effect and grow. Therefore, Slumber Party becoming a hit BEGINS at radio, which BEGINS with us. My friends in the radio business have given me tips on how to properly request a song that will convince a radio DJ to play it. The secret? A phone call. This isn't to say that tweeting, facebook commenting and mediabase is irrelevant– you're just treated as a number that way. A personal phone call gets it into their head, and they're more likely to play the song after a real conversation with someone. \ Call a station while a live radio DJ is on, and therefore via the request/studio line. This is typically live between the local hours of 5 am - 10 pm, depending on the station. If you live in the States, call all the radio stations that have the same/nearby area code as you. You will then look like a genuine radio listener in the area with a real request, not like a stan trying to run a campaign across the country. If you don't live in the respective region as the station, your call is still worthwhile, as people keep their old numbers when they move all the time and radio is now global because of the internet. Almost all radio stations have a live request/studio line. Simply google your radio station name and "contact," "request line" or "studio line," it should come up. If you cannot find your stations request line, respond below and I will find it for you. To make it easier, I made a list of the Top 10 pop radio stations and their respective request/studio lines. I will add more and make a request master list. WHTZ-FM – Z-100 – New York - 800.242.0100 KIIS-FM – 102.7 KIIS-FM – Los Angeles - 800-520-1027 WBMP-FM – 92.3 AMP Radio – New York - 888-923-0923 KAMP-FM – AMP 97.1 – Los Angeles - 877-971-4487 WKSC-FM – 103.5 KISS-FM – Chicago - 312-540-2000 WBBM-FM – B96 FM – Chicago - 312-591-9696 KHKS-FM – 106.1 Kiss FM – Dallas-Forth Worth - 214-787-1061 or 817-787-1061 WXKS-FM – KISS 108 – Boston - 781-396-1430 WIHT-FM – Hot 99.5 – Washington, D.C. - 877-995-4681 WIOQ-FM – Q102 Philly – Philadelphia - 215-263-1021 or 800-521-1021 WKRQ–FM – Q102 Cincinnati – 513-749-2320 Call them. Don't give up. Call again the next day. Have a personal conversation. Tell them how much your friends love it, how great the remix is, ask them if they've seen the video. The goal is to come across as a listener of the station who is also fan of the song Slumber Party, but not a Britney stan that is just calling a station. Stations don't advertise these numbers because they don't want you to have direct access to their DJs on air who program the songs. But they have to answer these calls. And your calls make a huge difference. PICK UP YA PHONE. TIME FOR SOME PHONOGRAPHY WITH YOUR LOCAL DJS. Respond below with how your phone calls went, or with any questions. NOW CALL!

I made a video to promote Slumber Party and it’s funny because…. see for yourself here it is: Feel free to share it with your friends or Britney FB groups… I attempted to create something that could go viral, in order to get more and more people about the song and video!! I can only hope it gets to Britney Spears herself!!
  20. How come nobody talked about this ? The song was already no.1 on this chart. http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/7581320/britney-spears-slumber-party-billboard-twitter-trending-140-chart
  21. Hi everyone! I like graphic design and I'm a Britney fan so I decided to make some artwork for the new remix. Thought I'd share since we have no official single cover. If you want to use one on iTunes, feel free to. album: http://imgur.com/a/9YU4w
  22. Okay, first of all, Slumber Party is currently the #1 music video on iTunes!! HOWEVER, the song isn't anywhere on the iTunes main-page, nor is it being featured on "hot tracks". Why isn't Slumber Party receiving any advertisement on iTunes the way other artist's songs are? I remember the same thing happening with "Make Me.." Currently Slumber Party is sitting at #33 on the iTunes charts... What's up with this?
