  1. Imagine a world where "Inside Out" became the fifth single from Femme Fatale What track from the album would have been an amazing sixth single?
  2. British pop group Steps dropped the MV for their second single “Something in Your Eyes” taken from their upcoming album “What the Future Holds” this morning. The song is classic pop that will transport you back to 1998 when times were simpler and cheesy pop music was everywhere. It’s fun, it’s camp, it’s colourful and it’s just what the world needs some of right now. Watch the clip below and stream the song everywhere now and let me know what y’all think. Related:
  3. Initially slated for release back in March but delayed due to the pandemic, British pop band Steps dropped their new single “What the Future Holds” last Monday. It’s the lead single from their upcoming sixth studio album of the same name. The music video for the track dropped on Friday and has been receiving rave reviews from fans and critics alike. The song, penned by none other than Sia, topped the UK iTunes chart within an hour of its release, with the album pre-order following suit by the following day. Best known for their fan-friendly dance routines (hence the name Steps) and hits such as “Tragedy,” “One For Sorrow,” “Deeper Shade of Blue,” and the line-dancing classic “5, 6, 7, 8,” the band, who were a huge staple in European pop music back in the late 90’s and early 00’s (and even toured with Britney) made a huge comeback in 2017 for their 20th anniversary, with a sell-out UK tour and comeback album “Tears on the Dancefloor.” “What the Future Holds” has been three years in the making and is set to be a continuation of their last album, utilising their established sound and bringing it into 2020. It sees them reunite with writers such as Fiona Bevan (One Direction, Lewis Capaldi), Ina Wroldsen (Shakira, Britney Spears) and Karl Twigg (who worked on their first three albums) plus experiment with songs written by the likes of Greg Kurstin (Adele, Beyonce), Hannah Robinson (Kylie) and new pop shape-shifters such as Gracey and MNEK. The album drops November 27th and you can pre-order it here via their official store. There are various bundles across a variety of formats including signed CDs, pink vinyl and cassette tape (how very 90's). Watch the video for “What the Future Holds” below and stream on Spotify! I've also posted "The Best of Steps" playlist for anyone who maybe isn't familiar with their back catalogue of bops.
  4. A$AP Ferg's Nicki Minaj collab "Move Ya Hips" is out now. I personally don't like the video. They'd tried to do something similar to 'dua's physical work out video' but for me it's a no Nicki's part is lit tho I love it Soon after it was released, the song topped the US iTunes top songs chart. What do you think, Exhale? Listen below:
  5. «"Mood Ring" entered the French top 20!! It debuts at #16 on the official charts! Congrats to the French B-Army!! 💪🏼
  6. I'm sick of waiting. WTRealF Britney?! this isn't good for us!! im having such a meltdown right now I have to take my pills.
  7. I remember seeing a ranked list of her first singles, now let's try to rank the second singles! In chronological order for reference: 1) Sometimes 2) Lucky 3) Overprotected 4) Toxic 5) Do Somethin' 6) Piece of Me 7) Circus 8) Till the World Ends 9) Perfume Good luck!
  8. I suspect that Britney's 2nd single from Glory will be a remixed track featuring a rap verse by Missy Elliott. Given that Missy is also known for her creative videos, the two would pair perfectly! It would also fit into the revamped Piece of Me show adjacent to the Missy Elliott Dance section. From a biz perspective, the Missy Mix would offer a new song for everyone to purchase, even if they already have the album. That additional capital could fund an ambitious video! I'd vote for "If I'm Dancing feat. Missy Elliott" because it would allow these two trailblazers to blaze trails. Britney is at her best when she's ahead of the curve musically and not playing catchup. This track would inspire a unique video and it would stand out while staying catchy. (Missy could even re-record the stilted interjections that occur throughout!) Second choice for second single with a Missy Mix would be "Do You Wanna Come Over?" Missy could re-record the shouted lines in the chorus that Britney echoes. On 2nd thought, let's hope for both of these remixes as singles!! Thoughts?
  9. After Make Me, the smartest thing to do is get a new single with a totally different vibe, more energetic, to bring the attention to Britney Spears again. Could be DYWCO? Yes, but... Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortés) is more ****, different and could be the next I'm a Slave 4U if it was properlly worked! That song just need a strong video, with lot of dance and sexyness. And the fundamental part here is: WE NEED A FLAWLESS DIRECTOR for it! So... My choices would be: Hannah Lux Davis from Cool For The Summer and Side to Side She knows how to make a **** video and work with lights that has appeal to attract more younger fans. Alek Keshishian from Hands to Myself and In Bed With Madonna Just a legend here. He is so creative and knows how to give substance to a song. It would fit CYM perfectly! Francis Lawrence from I'm a Slave 4u and Circus Ok, this one don't need any introduction to us, B-Army. Rigth? Could be epic! You're welcome, Larry Rudolph! (I hope he read this to take some notes!) And pleaaaaase, no more Chris Marrs Piliero or Randee St. Nicholas! K? Thanks, bye. P.S.: I know the fans like 'Slumber Party' or 'Love Me Down', but they are third single material. Let's think about the right move to her career now.
