  1. I thought it would be fun to create your own fan setlist for an artist you like. I used Britney's 22 song (excluding intro & interludes) song limit. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I thought of Selena Gomez. Yes she is not the vocalist or performer of Britney, but this post isn't to compare to Brit. It's to create a setlist for any artist you have in mind, even if you don't think they can nab a Vegas residency. Intro 1) Me & My Girls 2) Slow Down 3) I Want You To Know Interlude - Falling Down 4) Round & Round/ Hit the Lights 5) Bad Liar 6) Back to You Interlude - Perfect 7) Lose You To Love Me Interlude - Wizards of Waverly Place Theme Song 8) Naturally/ A Year Without Rain Interlude - Taki Taki feat. Ozuna, Cardi B 9) Taki Taki (Selena Verse) / I Can't Get Enough 10) Baila Conmigo Interlude - Fetish 11) Good For You 12) Wolves 13) It Ain't Me 14) Kill Em With Kindness Interlude - Ice Cream feat. Blackpink 15) I Love You Like a Love Song 16) Come & Get It 17) Whiplash 18) Same Old Love 19) The Heart Wants What It Wants Interlude - Rare 20) Hands To Myself 21) It Ain't Me 22) Who Says

I would love it, if you would check out my new song demo HMU https://youtu.be/mXUyIO9ZZYU I have done 7 demo songs these past few weeks from home, i've wrote them myself and am loving making music. I will attach some other of my videos below, but if you guys could check out my content i would be grateful and hope you can support me along the way as i make more music. Don't Need No Love original song demo https://youtu.be/dpWWS6Z1j6I Gotta Get Through This cover dance video https://youtu.be/4KmnOjvHyrM My Flow (original song demo, a drill inspired song) https://youtu.be/eWOQJYW0qiY Things People Say About Me (original song demo, a personal pop song with a fun twist on comments i get on the daily) https://youtu.be/MTRTp66JFfE Closer cover by Ne Yo (dance video, i sang this from the perspective of being a gay guy singing about a guy, i think its time to normalise guys singing about guys in pop) https://youtu.be/V0UCpfJNyls New Funk demo (This will be my first single released on major platforms on 23rd Apr, its a dance, pop song and is really funky, my final version of the song is much improved in sound quality but please check out this version of my song performed in my kitchen lmao) https://youtu.be/EDZO-mt9uqs I do have some other original songs on my channel and other cover songs too but those are some of my favs.
  3. In, 2010 Katy Perry and her cartoon characters larger than life persona, Lady gaga catering to the underground club culture, where she boldly and proudly proclaimed nightly on her monster ball that she locked the weirdos (straight laced people) were banned from her show, cos they don't represent the new revolution of being one true self. And of Course Rihanna who was on track to be the artist that could overtake Mariah's Billboard record. But, it all changed in 2013, when gaga released Artpop, and it was given a mixed reception by the critics and audiences alike, Katy and Prism wanted to be taken seriously and Rihanna would begin her first actual hiatus in 2014, she entered her second one in 2017. So, what happened to pop music, The Atlantic explains it basically died, when Dr. Luke and Kesha court battle took the pop Music court, black lives matter, and artists wanting to be political, mostly female, turned people off. Reggaeton and Latin hip hop music is popular, cos it never went political the way the English pop Music did, and the Atlantic thinks it truly can't make a comeback, until a pop star wants to remain neutral, it's okay to be political, but for a genre that was built in escapism, what's the point in embracing a music genre that lost the whole plot and premise it was built around.
  4. Hello everyone! @SUCCESSICA IS A QUEEN here! Welcome to Round 2 of Female Artists of the 21st Century: YEAR 2001 EDITION! So how exactly does it work? It’s simple! What I have done is gathered the 20 biggest female artists from each pertaining year, by taking into factors like album sales, awards, tour gross, chart success, streaming, worldwide impact, influence and relevancy. Next to each artist will include their most commercially successful single from that respective year. For example, I'm a Slave 4 U was Britney's most successful song from the year 2001, therefore Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know will not be included in the poll. BUT... 5. Hello everyone for those who don't know me, My name is L e V a N (A.K.A #levantune). I'm a singer-songwriter from Europe and I'm excited to share with you all my work, First Dance track I wrote which was inspired by the music sound of late 90-s and early 2000-s. Inspiration for this were sound of Britney Spears & Lady Gaga ( Separate gratitude to LADIES that I'm sure made everyone's life way brighter, happier in all the possible ways with their music) And of Course to Jordan Miller who made this all possible by creating this pop music news community - Breatheheavy, which I follow since 2004 (Yes I follow this since then, I'm a HUGE FAN) Back then it was (and I guess still is) breath of fresh air. This is the First Time I'm posting Original Work here and to be honest a bit worried, as I know we Britney Fans are very critical, which is another reason me posting it here Anyways, won't be talking too much, hope you'll enjoy the song & Music video - Coming Soon! Thank you for opportunity
  6. Do any of you get weird vibes from Billy’s brother? Not trying to be a hater - but he literally follows her around every award ceremony and I think it’s awkward and borderline creepy. If I were billy I’d ask him to stay at home working on new tracks on the garageband while I go get my Grammys. thoughts??
  7. Whether this is in bad taste or not I am very interested in knowing who most people support regarding these two high profile cases claiming abuse and violence. Who do you support and what are your reasons? Is there a major difference in the two cases and what are they exactly?
  8. These are some extremely talented woman, vocal wise for a girl-band i think they are up there with Little Mix! Only issue is there signed with RCA and we all know how RCA treats anything girl-band or female popstars. My favourite vocals are from Hannah Mrozak! I love the covers they have done on YouTube and there original song Call Me Queen is a bop! There original single: So yeah guys what do you think? I'm interested in what @Slayer thinks of them!

  10. Mexican pop princess Fey is releasing her new single The Perfect Song tonight, featuring DJ and producer Paul Oakenfold who has remixed songs for many different artists, including Britney Spears (Gimme More), Madonna, Maroon 5, Michael Jackson, Adele among many others. Fey releases this as part of the celebration of her 25 years of career, having also uploaded some of the official music videos that were missing on her YouTube account, earlier this month. She's often called the "Queen of the 90's" in Mexico, since she gained a lot of popularity and success with her first three studio albums which were more teen/bubblegum pop oriented, however, she was one of the main artists to bring the electronic sounds and Euro Dance influences to the Latin scene, mostly in her deep cuts. In the 00's she explored even further these electronic genres, but since she went independent, she never got the same popularity she obtained at the beginning of her career. Some people often label her as "the Mexican Kylie Minogue" not only because of the musical style, but because they even argue they have similar physical features. Fey is even a self-proclaimed Kylie fan, naming Into the Blue the best song of 2014. The song premieres in about 3 hours, so make sure to check it out You can check more of Fey here:
  11. The album is trending worldwide and getting good reviews. Good pop is back, thanks god.
  12. There were many tours planned for 2020/2021, that got scrapped due to the Covid-19 pandemic, BUT if the pandemic never happened do you think Katy Perry would have been able to sell out (or come close to selling out) an Arena Tour to support her latest album "Smile"? There are many legacy artists who can pull this off. Some artist's new albums don't sell too well, but due to their discography, they can sell out a tour in minutes, if not seconds a.k.a. Madonna, Cher, Shania Twain, Spice Girls...Justin Timberlake Do you think Katy Perry has become a legacy artist or do you think she is still relevant enough where she can sell out a tour based off each new album she releases, ...OR is she neither? Discuss.
  13. Rita Ora threw a party in a restaurant and according to The Guardian she may escape a fine but the restaurante is facing a 10,000 pounds fine. See more here: https://www.theguardian.com/music/2020/nov/30/rita-ora-throws-birthday-party-london-restaurant-covid-lockdown
  14. ..' The first half of the movie shows Junie’s come up as a Hollywood starlit. Even from the age of three Junie is depicted as having strings attached to her, showing how she is both literally controlled by her mom, but also figuratively held captive by both her mom and society as a whole. Junie’s first relationship is also arranged for her by a PR team, and when her first boyfriend Zachary Wilderness rapes her and releases the footage online, he is held to zero account for his action, meanwhile Junie is treated as a **** for engaging in ***ual activity before marriage. Not only is Junie treated like an object to be controlled, she also has virtually no control over what she says publicly. In all of her interviews as a kid, she is given a script by her PR team where she mostly appeals to god as a way of getting out of public scandal. A lot of this is meant to closely mirror the real life experiences of Brittany Spears and Lindsey Lohan, and it arguably does so to pretty good effect...'
  15. Mandy Moore has a present for fans as sweet as Christmas candy. The singer and This Is Us star dropped a two-track holiday package Thursday, featuring original song and title track "How Could This Be Christmas?" and her rendition of Christmas classic "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year." Listeners can hear the songs now online, as well as pre-order an exclusive double-sided 7” single vinyl version. Moore's song choices reflect the complex nature of the holiday season in 2020 as we continue to live through the COVID-19 pandemic. There's the classic celebratory tune "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year," as well as a more reflective new, original song. Moore co-wrote "How Could This Be Christmas?" with her husband Taylor Goldsmith (of musical group Dawes) and music producer Mike Viola. The new track speaks to the challenge of facing loss during the holiday season. "The holidays are certainly going to feel verifiably different this year and in this vein, I challenged myself (and Mike and Taylor) to write a song that hinted at the acknowledgment of something missing without being too specific," Moore said in a statement. "Because if we’ve learned anything in this season of change, it’s the recognition that those we love and cherish are what’s most important and worth celebrating. And that felt like a message to get behind during this special time of year." Christmas classic "It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" was introduced by Andy Williams in 1963, but it's been covered by countless artists since. Edward Pola and George Wyle wrote the song in waltz time, and it's revered as one of the best holiday songs ever recorded. Moore's new holiday single comes on the heels of her first album in more than 11 years, this spring's Silver Landings. The creative burst came after Moore had to postpone her tour in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. Viola produced both singles (as well as Silver Landings) and plays bass and electric guitar on the tracks. Goldsmith provides background vocals, guitar, and bass with Lee Pardini on keyboards and Griffin Goldsmith on drums. Eric Lea arranged and performed strings on “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.” Source: https://ew.com/music/mandy-moore-new-christmas-song/
  16. Syd Silvair conjures a world where disco meets modern witchcraft, where divination oscurs atop a lush palette of danceable art-pop. "Reverie" captures the spirit of a moonlit disco. The 4 song EP marks a strong opening for the musician and mystic, whose divine energy seeps into every song. Her work is inspired by her fascination with tarot and the narratives of each card. 17. British pop group Steps dropped the MV for their second single “Something in Your Eyes” taken from their upcoming album “What the Future Holds” this morning. The song is classic pop that will transport you back to 1998 when times were simpler and cheesy pop music was everywhere. It’s fun, it’s camp, it’s colourful and it’s just what the world needs some of right now. Watch the clip below and stream the song everywhere now and let me know what y’all think. Related:
  18. Oh my little gay heart Steps have returned to save 2020! It’s like old school Steps and ABBA teamed up to create the perfect Eurovision song This is the second official single from their upcoming album What The Future Holds
  19. Ally Brooke, of Fifth Harmony, made headlines when she revealed that, at 27, she’s still a virgin. But she exclusively told Page Six that there have been temptations. “I mean it is a difficult road — especially being a young woman in the entertainment business, you’re surrounded by attractive people,” she said. “I stop the temptation by killing the mood … It’s like seeing a nice purse in the mall. You really want to buy it, but you have to save your money. So you walk around the mall thinking about the purse.” If all else fails, there’s always prayer. “Oh, God, yes. There were times when I was like, ‘Lord give me the strength to make it through this,’” she told us. But she also has a fear of dying a virgin. “I pray to God like, ‘Please don’t let me die a virgin. Let me meet my husband before that happens to me and give me a few good years with him.’” The former “X Factor” star added she wants to be married by the time she’s 30. Her memoir, “Finding Your Harmony,” is out now.
  20. 23 years later to this day and this masterpiece of an album still sounds fresher than yesterday. October 7, 2020 marks the 23 year anniversary of Janet Jackson’s “The Velvet Rope.” Similar to the vein of Madonna’s “Ray Of Light” album, Janet was able to channel vulnerability, spiritual growth, and catharsis with genre bending sounds and atmospheric chutzpah. At the time, no other pop girl channeled raw emotion and conviction to an album released to the masses that was celebrated for its honesty, frankness, and conviction which also received chart praise (no payola, just pure demand). Tackling human sexuality, homophobia, mental health, and even social connection at a time when social media was a mere idea. Even your faves scite this album as their inspiration to be honest and frank when they are tired of playing the industry puppet game. Fun Fact: Janet also worked with Ellen Von Unwerth for the iconic cover whom also worked on Britney’s “Blackout” and Christina’s “Back To Basics” album covers. 🙏🏼😍 As the album closer mentions, be sure to water your spiritual garden. 🌺 🙏🏼
  21. Have any heard underground artist Cloudee Kupid? 3 songs released a couple weeks ago, including this visual (debut?), super unknown right now but a unique voice in darker/sad sounding trap and modern pop. Maybe fans of the late Juice Wrld or Lil Peep would check this out. Looks like not many people finding out about it yet but with the right exposure could be a rising artist
  22. Shania released a special remastered “Diamond Edition” of her breakthrough album “The Woman in Me” today. The album spawned a whopping 7 singles including the timeless toe-tappers “Any Man of Man, “You Win My Love,” “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?” and “(If You're Not in It for Love) I'm Outta Here!” kickstarting her popularity and paving the way for her eventual country-pop crossover and global domination just a few years later. In this new edition, the classic album has been expertly remastered and expanded to include single versions, remixes, live versions and isolated vocal versions of the tracks we all know so well. She’s been re-uploading the music videos from the album recently which have been all been expertly remastered to HD quality and look stunning. Watch the playlist below... “The Woman in Me, Super Deluxe Diamond Edition” available to buy in various formats and stream from today! Shania also recently teamed up with Orville Peck for his latest album, check out my thread about that below...
