  1. The comments are blasphemy toward Britney and one of them is even prejudiced towards white women. I think they're mistaking some of the comments about her dance moves for Beyonce.
  2. https://www.breatheheavy.com/exhale/index.php?/forums/topic/780778-danja-teases-b10-titles/
  3. Can we leave both of those horrid genres in the past where they belong. '80s pop is so overrated, bring back '90s pop.
  4. I went through a really rough time and the song Piece of Me really helped me cope so I'll forever have fondness towards that song.
  5. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they're just lazy because there are ways to promote her without being overexposed.
  6. I also think maybe the jealousy stems from the fact that Beyonce's team is infinitely better than Britney's and knows how to promote.
  7. You better add that she's surpassed the current Britney otherwise you're going to be the latest cancellation.
  8. We all know Britney behaved strangely in 2007 due to her mental health, it wouldn't surprise if that was a buildup from previous years, she was literally just trying to tell herself to not cry. No need to be so sassy about your conspiracy theory.
  9. I know it's fun to imagine everything is a conspiracy but this is just called being a human and having emotions.
  10. Thank you so much! You're very kind! I wouldn't really mind telling you my age range in private but just because this forum is public, I'll just say I'm probably the youngest person here and was born in the late '00s.
  11. Yeah i remembered the melody and some of the lyrics, I just thought she was referring to a different song! Yeah, I don't know a single person my age who doesn't know at least one of her songs. I think I had heard maybe a little bit of ...Baby One More Time but never in full and I'm pretty sure i That makes me jealous haha! If you don't mind me asking, when was she the most popular? During the ...Baby One More Time era and the Oops!... I Did It Again eras or during the Britney and In The Zone eras? Yeah, I don't really listen to most of the rap music that's mainstream now a days haha. My favourites go back and forth between Britney (2001), In The Zone and Blackout so those are the ones in my trinity. What are yours? When I first saw her 2000 VMAs performance, I didn't think it was intentional and I thought that she didn't notice her pants were coming out so I was being like " " and then Britney ripped it all off and started doing the rest of the performance and I was being like " "
  12. Thing is, teen pop was popular for boy groups and girl groups but not teenage female solo artists. Britney was rejected from some record labels because they wanted girl groups and boy groups. People DID follow Britney's lead because after that teenage pop female solo artists started becoming popular, Mandy Moore, Jessica Simpson, Christina Aguilera, etc. Dark pop music was already popular and pioneered before Billie. Which big pop stars started doing dark pop after Billie? Who followed her lead?
  13. The first song I ever heard of hers was Oops!... I Did It Again when I was like 4, I heard it at a birthday party. I have known about Britney all my life though because I remember when she was really popular in the early 2010s Last year, I was on the school bus with my friend and she told me to check out "That 'Oops!... I Did It Again song by Mariah Carey'." So I looked it up and I couldn't any song by Mariah Carey called Oops!... I Did It Again so i clicked on the music video on the official Britney Spears YouTube channel. I literally had never seen anything like this, before this I hated music in general and never listened to it and I thought the performances from the pop stars then were super boring but I could NOT stop listening to the song, then I clicked on her official YouTube channel to listen to some more and I listened to ...Baby One More Time all like " ". For a while I stuck to listening to music from Britney's first 2 albums only due to the fact I was scared to delve into stuff beyond that because I was young. Then one day I got brave and watched her performance of I'm a Slave 4 U at the 2001 VMAs and the whole time I was in awe like as soon as Britney brought the snake out, I was like " " so I started slowly going through the rest of her discography but very slowly because I wanted to savour it. Then it just became that everyday I was listening to Britney, talking about her, looking her up and I realized I was going to be a fan for life. Sorry if this was long.
