Want to be on MTV gushing about your favorite Britney music video? Well here’s your chance, and MTV wanted BreatheHeavy readers to know first!
MTV is looking for outgoing Britney fans to be apart of an upcoming Britney special! MTV’s “Britney Fans: For the Record” is a one hour special featuring 15-20 of Britney’s best music videos. All videos will include fan’s positive comments on the videos ranging from comments on her fashion, favorite lyrics, best dance moves and general well wishes for the pop princess.
The videos MTV will be featuring in the special are:

You Drive My Crazy
Oops…I Did It Again
From the Bottom of My Broken Heart
Oops…I Did It Again
I’m a Slave For You
I’m Not a Girl…Not Yet A Woman
I Love Rock N’ Roll
Me Against The Music

Break the Ice
Each comment should be within 5-10 seconds. State your name, the video you are commenting on, pause, then say your comment.
Here is a sample comment as an example for Britney’s “(You Drive Me) Crazy” music video:
1. Jordan Miller. “(You Drive Me) Crazy.” (pause) “Britney’s looking awesome in that green top. I love the chair dance too!”
(I know your comments will be better!)
MTV will be shooting this Saturday at the MTV Studio in New York City located at 1515 Broadway in Times Square (44th and Broadway). If you are interested in being a fan commentator and are available this Saturday October 25th, EMAIL [email protected] ASAP with the timeslot you are interested in!
Currently there are 2 slots left for Saturday October 25th: 10am or 12pm(noon). This should only take about an hour, and you’ll need to come camera ready!
Want to be a commentator but are not in New York City? No problem! Record your own commentary and send the file to MTV using Yousendit.com.
1. Film your segment
2. Go to www.yousendit.com
3. Under “send a file now”, type in [email protected] as the “to” address.
4. Fill in your e-mail address in the “from” box.
5. Click on “Choose File.”
6. Select your file for upload.
7. Click “send it.”
The special, “Britney Fans: For the Record,” is set to air on November 1st, but is subject to change. There’s some stiff competition! Good luck!
