Transcend to the stars.

NINA is currently hard at work on her debut album, which she hopes will drop early next year. Until then, the UK-based, German pop singer-songwriter is offering listeners a taste of what’s to come with music from her forthcoming EP titled One Of Us (out Aug. 11).

Her latest release, “Counting Stars,” premieres on BreatheHeavy.com today (June 22). It’s a dreamy, ‘80s-tinged mid-tempo love song crafted by Swedish synthwave producer Oscillian about a couple lost in love and leaving it all behind.

NINA tells BH the song is “a narrative about two lovers making a pact to escape their lives,” adding: “it’s about eternal love beyond time and space.”

“Frozen, the morning found us, holding hands,” she croons over a magical pulsating beat. “East to the Sea, our love won’t just drown.”

What does NINA want people to take away from the track? “To not be afraid to love unconditionally and fully.”
