Things are not OK in the world right now, but Drake’s new Director X-helmed clip is a reminder that good people and deeds still exist.

Drake had a budget of $996,631.90 for the “God’s Plan” video, but instead of using it for a glossy, high-budget video, the Toronto rapper decided to give it all away. “Don’t tell the label,” a caption reads in the intro.

 

 

As Rap-Up points out, Drake drops by a supermarket and pays for everyones groceries, writes a check for $50,000 to a high school student to attend the University of Miami, takes a couple of young ladies on a shopping spree at Saks Fifth Avenue alongside Pittsburgh Steelers player, Antonio Brown, signed a a $20,000 check to the City of Miami Fire Department, gives aways toys and $50,000 to the Lotus House Women’s Shelter, gifts a van to the Overtown Youth Center and even buys a young man a brand new car. A king.

Drake said the video was “the most important thing I have ever done in my career.”
