Drake Announces New Playlist Project ‘More Life’ And Releases Three New SongsOctober 23, 2016
Tis the season!
Tis the season!
On Sunday night’s episode of Drizzy’s OVO Sound radio show, the rapper said he’ll be releasing a playlist project called More Life in December then promptly dropped the artwork on Instagram.
On Monday, Oct. 24, Drake turns 30-years-old, so to celebrate the announcement of his new work and bday, he premiered three new songs: “Two Birds, One Stone,” “Sneakin”’ feat. 21 Savage, “Fake Love” and the “Wanna Know” (Remix).
He says the upcoming playlist will serve as a “soundtrack to your life,” and though it’s unclear how it differentiates from a mixtape like last year’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, it will be made entirely of original work.
“I’m off like mixtapes, I want to do a playlist,” Drake said on the show. “I want to give you a collection of songs that become the soundtrack to your life, so this More Life: The Playlist. Like I said, dropping in December. All original music from me. You might hear some tunes from the family on there, but I’m just really excited. I had a great tour, I had a great summer. And most people, I guess, would like go probably take a break. But for me I just want to get right back to it. Be with the people again.”
