Diplo Says Madonna's Reinventing Herself Again

Madonna’s new music is crazy good!

We’ve heard a taste of what’s to come, thanks to a hacker violating Madonna as a human and an artist. Cue iPod smash. Madonna’s “Rebel Hearts” and “Wash All Over Me” by Avicii hit the net unexpectedly last Thanksgiving, and though unfinished, it pleasantly surprised her fans and music lovers.

Producer Diplo is working hard with Madge on her upcoming album, too, saying her new sound is experimental and fresh:

I loved working with Madonna. The tracks have come out great and crazy- sounding,” Diplo said. “She is one of those few artists who started the trend of reinventing themselves before anybody else. She kind of began that trend of actually coming back with a refreshingly new look, music style and fresh tunes; winning it and hitting the top of the charts. She was ready to experiment while collaborating with me and was very open-minded to my ideas.

Diplo confirmed he lent his talents on a Madonna song with Nicki Minaj and SOPHIE.

He said a few weeks back of the collabo, “All I want to do is things that haven’t been done before. I want to leave behind those weird things.”

OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, who’s also working on the new Madonna record, tells BreatheHeavy her new music is the best she’s done in the last 10 years. He’s just glad his tracks haven’t leaked, saying:

“I don’t know who does it, obviously there are a lot of people who spend way too much time scouring the internet for stuff to exploit and make a name for themselves as hackers or whatever and I think that’s where it comes from. I did speak to her a few days ago but the leaks were nothing to do with the stuff I’m involved with thank God.”
