Demi Lovato Says She Wasn’t Asked To Perform At Ariana Grande’s Manchester Benefit Concert
It’s refreshing how honest Demi Lovato is sometimes. A few weeks ago a “fan” asked for an autograph, and the “Confident” singer denied the request because she feared they’d put it up for sale on eBay. Then there was that time around the election when she Tweeted “Sometimes you just have to agree to disagree and grab some pussy” before deleting it and Tweeting: “Someone take my twitter away from me.”
Anyways, Demi remains outspoken. Ariana Grande announced a benefit concert for the victims and families affected by the Manchester attack, which includes Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Pharrell, Usher, Take That and Niall Horan. It does not include Demi Lovato. Why?
UPDATE: Demi clarified why she decided to comment on the situation at all. “The only reason why I answered is so people understand that I didn’t turn it out,” she said. “I’d hate for anyone to think that I said no. I would’ve loved to help but I wasn’t asked, that’s all.”
And there you have it folks. Make of it what you will.
