Demi Lovato Dedicates “Warrior” To Bruce Jenner At Concert
Demi Lovato says Bruce is an “American hero.”
Demi Lovato dedicated a song called “Warrior” to Bruce Jenner at her show in in Auckland, New Zealand on Sunday.
Lovato paid tribute to Bruce, who she labeled an “American hero,” due to his bravery for coming out has transgendered, although admitted she had no idea who he was until “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”
“But I just want to dedicate this song… It’s so cheesy that I’m even doing this, but whatever. I want to dedicate it to someone who became an even bigger hero last night—Bruce Jenner!” She added:
“Never ever thought I’d dedicate a song to him but he was honest and he was open with his story,” she added in an uploaded video of the special moment during her show at Vector Arena. “No matter if you agree with it or not, he probably saved so many lives and educated so many people [about] transitioning into being a woman and being transgender and what that’s all about. So, yeah, I just want to dedicate it to Bruce Jenner.”
