Deciphering Britney's Latest Moon Tweets

Britney posted three photos of the Moon, and we’re not sure why.

While on vacation in Louisiana, a stroke of inspiration hit Britney at 1 AM her time. She decided to Google Image search “the moon” and the result was a Tweet with three photos of a bright full moon and no accompanying caption or explanation.

This follows her cryptic Instagram post last week (which was deleted a short while later) of a fading woman gazing off into the horizon.

This can only mean one of several things. Either Britney’s really embracing the artsy fartsy vibe of her impending next album, confirming the much-anticipated fan-made record title “Feed The Wolves,” is pondering the vastness of our universe or simply needs a hug.

“The Moon often represents your ‘shadow’ self,” says this website. “The shadow is a psychological term introduced by the late Swiss psychiatrist Dr. Carl G. Jung, and is a part of the unconscious mind consisting of repressed weaknesses, shortcomings and instincts. ‘Everyone carries a shadow,’ Jung wrote, ‘and the less it is embodied in the individual’s conscious life, the blacker and denser it is.’

The Sun also moves into Cancer on June 21.

By the way, Britney deleted all of her and Charlie’s pictures of Instagram. Looks like she’ll stick with the Louisiana boys.
