The Britney Army investigates.

Danja, one of the masterminds behind Blackout, has worked on multiple songs for Britney’s tenth studio album. He even teased what we presume are lyrics: “welcome to the jungle.”

B10’s executive producer, Justin Tranter, recently posted a photo of the two together. They’re clearly working together on new Britney tunes, and they might have been collaborating as recently as this week.

See what Exhale is saying about this!

Danja posted a photo of himself in the recording studio, but there are several things worth pointing out. There’s a man in the background with his back to the camera. Fans are speculating that it’s Tranter. The buzz snowballed – there’s two figures that fans want to be Britney: the shadow, possibly Britney in the booth, or what appears to be a blonde woman with her hair in a bun. Neither of which are probably Britney, but it can’t hurt to hope.

“The type of history I want to make takes time,” Danja said in the now deleted caption. “I’m anxious but I’m in no rush. I practice patience and calm even tho I’m overwhelmed with excitement and optimism. When everything is aligned and the time presents itself I know I’m prepared on every level.”

It’s worth mentioning Brit’s team shot down rumors recently that she is recording new music during her indefinite work hiatus, but in fans’ minds she’s secretly working on B10 and will Beyonce-style surprise release it in 2019; we love delusion.

“Blackout was the first time I worked with Danja, and he gave me the opportunity and freedom to work with more urban sounds and influences,” Britney said in 2017 to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the album. “It really inspired me! I also got the chance to sing more and stretch my voice in ways I hadn’t done before. The magic of Blackout was actually pretty simple. It just wasn’t so thought out. I just did what I felt and it worked. Sometimes less is more I guess.”

Look, we’ll see what we want to see.
