Gimme gimme gimme.
UPDATE // SEPTEMBER 18:
Cher released a new video for “SOS.” Good news? A visual! The bad? She’s not in it. It’s actually an awkward-cringe, ’70s-style clip of a bunch of people worshipping a pretty blonde white woman. It’s not the vibe.
UPDATE // AUGUST 9:
Christmas came early! Cher’s second Dancing Queenrelease has arrived. Following “Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Mad After Midnight) is “SOS,” another ABBA dance-tastic bop. An auto-tuned Cher slinks over groovy production as she recalls fond memories from a relationship. It’s actually quite romantic.

UPDATE // AUGUST 8:
Cher readies her first ABBA cover. According to the Interwebs (never wrong), it’s the iconic “Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight).”
I literally sing this drunk every Friday night at 1 AM so you know my body is ready.

UPDATE // JULY 17:
After Cher breathed new life into “Fernando,” the iconic singer decided she wasn’t done there.
“After I did ‘Fernando,’ I thought: It would really be fun to do an album of ABBA songs, so I did,” Cher said in a new interview with Today‘s Kathie Lee Gifford via People.
“It’s not what you think of when you think of ABBA because I did it in a different way.”
This is something no one asked for, but I’m so thankful it exists.
UPDATE // JUNE 21:
Cher and singer Andy Garcia recorded a duet of the iconic classic.
It’s featured on the Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again soundtrack.
No sense in streaming anything else today. Enjoy:
EARLIER // APRIL 25:
Why is the legendary singer presenting us with such a gift? Cher was there to promote her upcoming film, Mamma Mia: Here we Go Again! (out July 20). Watch the trailer she’s in here. We love a business woman!
In true iconic form, Cher sang the classic hit wearing a glitter pantsuit and matching platform heels while a small army of backup dancers whirled around her. The audience gave her a standing O for it.
What can’t Cher do? She’s still rocking out to thousands of concert-goers with her Las Vegas residency and is continuing to work on new music. But dancing to ABBA? That holds a special place in my little gay heart.
I REPEAT: CHER JUST PERFORMED FERNANDO. pic.twitter.com/QKVLFEJrnG
