The numbers are in!

Christina Aguilera’s new album Liberation was expected to debut at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, but a final report from Billboard confirms it actually slides in at No. 6 with 68,000 equivalent album units (62,000 were in traditional album sales).

Lotus debuted at No. 7, so slay a bit.

According to a report from Chart Data on Twitter, Christina’s new record will round out the Top 5 with 62-67k in sales (68-73k including streaming).

All things considering, this is actually very promising! 2012’s Lotus clocked in at 73,408 units in its opening week, and a lot has changed in six years. Impressive!

Elsewhere in the Top 5? Beyonce and JAY-Z’s new album Everything Is Love dukes it out with 5 Seconds of Summer’s Youngblood for No. 1.

Hits Daily Double says they’re both on track to debut with 120k. It’s worth mentioning The Carters had one less day than 5SOS and their joint-record remained a Tidal exclusive until Monday. When streaming is considered, Bey and JAY will probably come out on top.

Rapper ************ could also make a big debut this coming week following his death (read more about that here). He currently is in the Top 10 on Spotify and has four of the Top 5 songs on Apple Music.
