Christina Aguilera’s new album, Liberation, is out today (June 15). Fighters are already saying it’s her best release since Back To Basics (justice for ahead of its time Bionic).

We had to wait six long years for this, but Legend X promises she won’t make that same mistake twice.

In a new interview with Paper, Xtina says now that she’s back in artist mode, she’ll work on a followup much sooner than Liberation‘s predecessors.

“I don’t wanna take a long break,” she says.

“After this album, I’m back in my artist mode. I don’t want to let that go again. I have a great team of writers and people behind me that I can just reach out to now.”

X adds: “It’s been great being able to take the time on this record to get to know people. We’ll continue pulling through, so maybe there is another record sooner than you think after this one.”

This is seriously great news, because pop music 2018, 2019… 2060 needs her.
