She’s just gotta shake it off.

Charli XCX opened for Taylor Swift on the Reputation tour last year, and performed alongside fellow opener, Camila Cabello, during “Shake It Off.” Despite having the opportunity to perform for hundreds of thousands of potential new fans, the pop star feels like it wasn’t exactly the best fit.

In a new interview with Pitchfork, Charli explained Swifties aren’t exactly her target audience.

“I’m really grateful that [Taylor] asked me on that tour,” Charli says. “But as an artist, it kind of felt like I was getting up on stage and waving to 5-year-olds.”

It’s understandable that Charli didn’t feel at home at a Taylor Swift concert; despite Reputation‘s mature ominous vibe, it still attracted younger audiences to her shows. That being said, Taylor is gonna end game ha.

UPDATE: Charli has since responded.
