Travis Barker is a man of few words, but I got a couple out of him anyway.

The Blink 182 and Transplant drummer’s a seasoned veteran, lending his craft to dozens of artists in the music industry from Lil Wayne, Eminem, Rihanna, Britney Spears and Avril Lavigne. Now, Travis is the one recruiting talent for his upcoming solo album, the followup from his 2011 LP “Give the Drummer Some.”

He headlined Rock ’N Roll Wine Amplified’s second night at MGM with Blink 182 in Las Vegas Saturday night. Afterwards, he headed to HYDE nightclub inside the Bellagio to host an after-party. Amidst a crowd of people surrounding us on the red carpet, Travis answered a few questions for in his only interview of the night.

I asked: How was your show tonight?

“It was fun.”
