Jody Brock dropped his new EP titled “Phoenix” today on iTunes, and it’s fire.
The 22-year-old singer/songwriter from South London, England released his three-song compilation he wrote and recorded in L.A. last year. It’s hugely inspired by his love of soul music as well as modern day rock and blues – think Amy Winehouse meets The Black Keys.
He collaborated with Grammy award winning producer Igloo and songwriter Drew Lawrence (co-wrote Christina Perri’s “Jar of Hearts”) on “Phoenix, and the talent is evident. The production quality is superior, and BreatheHeavy is excited to share Jody Brock’s latest because, as he puts it, “there is no safe way to be ambitious.”
