Cardi B teases a hard-hitting new song titled “Press.”

It makes a lot of sense Cardi recorded a song titled “Press.” There’s really no one more talked about than her right now, so it was inevitable.

After splitting up with baby daddy Offset, from rap trio Migos, Cardi kept things moving. That is, until Offset crashed her headlining performance at the Rolling Loud festival in LA last weekend. He wheeled out three boxes with the words “Take Me Back Cardi” spelled out with $15,000 worth of roses and announced, “In front of the world, I love you.” It didn’t work.

Cardi since went on the record to say she’s felt tempted to take him back, but not because of his romantic gesture and pleading.

“I miss the D,” Cardi said in a video. “I miss it, a lot. I want it,” she continued. “I’m about to relapse and call.”

The romantic drama coincides with rumors Cardi has plans to release a Deluxe version of Invasion of Privacy. That could very well include her new song, “Press.” The rapper shared a snippet of it on Instagram, and it sounds like a banger.

On it, Cardi raps about not needing more press. The lyrics are divine.

Press, press, press, press, press / Cardi don’t need more press / Kill em all put them hoes to rest, walk in bulletproof vest / Please tell me who she’s gone check, Murder C and Cardi made a mess / Pop up guess who b—h, Pop up guess who b—h.”

Oh, and since we’re on the subject… did you check out Cardi’s appearance on Carpool Karaoke? She raps at a senior center.

Look, when the press is this good you gotta make a moment of it.
