Let’s start off with the drama, because you know that’s your favorite part. OK, my favorite part…

Received a sketchy email this morning regarding Britney’s Montreal, Canada show at the Bell Centre on March 20, saying:

“Just wanted to tell you that there’ll be a petite surprise at Britney Spears’ Montreal Bell Centre show, tomorrow night. The problem is that the surprise is not very positive…. Actually, fans will be disappointed.
Let’s say that having three shows in a row, is not a good thing, at least for Brit Brit.”

After inquiring about who the source is, their reply was: “I can’t really give anymore details. It’s under embargo, until tomorrow night.”

“All I can say is that there was a press conference yesterday, for The Circus Tour, and there was some information regarding some aspects of the show, that I can’t say… Only Montreal’s media outlets were accepted.

I’m sure you’ll receive plenty of e-mails from Montrealers out there, that will be complaining about it, after the show is done.”

UPDATE: Rumor has it the company that has supplied the intricate rigging for the show will be losing half of the trussing.

“They are doing everything in their power to get it together before the show on friday night.”

Time Change:
Several BreatheHeavy readers sent in an email about show delays they received from GEG, the venue selling tickets to the Montreal show, which said:

“Please note that doors will not open as initially announced at 7pm but at 8pm and the show will begin around 9pm.

Additionally, in Toronto tonight doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the Pussycat Dollshitting the stage at 7 p.m.

And finally, the Lifestyle Marketing Coordinator at Sony Music Entertainment Canada sent BreatheHeavy an email about a contest for fans in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver to win tickets to see Britney Spears in their cities.

“The contest is in play of “IF U SEE AMY”. Amy (who is a Britney lookalike, wearing a ringleader outfit) is on twitter and she will be twittering clues as to where she is on March 17 (Toronto), March 19 (Montreal) and April 4 (Vancouver). Fans have to find Amy, by using her clues on twitter. The first person to find Amy wins tickets to see Britney Spears. Other prizes include swag such as CDs, DVDs, cosmetics, etc. When you find Amy, you have to say “I SEEK AMY”. Her account is Twitter.com/seekingamy.”

The contest is a Sony Music initiative; an effort to grow in a viral campaign/grassroots way, without the corporate name Sony.

Britney is scheduled for a second show at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada tonight.

Now I want bacon…
