The international implications that that has.

Camila Cabello shared the cover art for her forthcoming album, Romance. On it, the singer is wearing a gorgeous red gown and sitting barefoot in a pool of water. Behind her are all types of people embraced in passion. It’s pretty, but album cover worthy? Not so sure.

The devil works hard, but Camila’s manager works harder. The “Havana” singer also appears on one of the many new covers of TIME magazine. She’s labeled as one of the most influential people on the planet.

Romance will arrive on December 6.

It features previously released songs, “Shameless,” “Liar,” “Easy,” “Cry For Me” and “Señorita,” featuring Shawn Mendes. Another one of the tracks, “Living Proof,” arrives this Friday (Nov. 15).

“I can’t believe this is happening. Romance. December 6. I just wanted this album to sound like what falling in love feels like, pretty impossible thing to do but I can say I gave it all I had,” Camila wrote on Instagram.

“I’ve never lived as much life as I did writing this album. It was messy, and beautiful, unforgettable and at times so painful I wish I could forget, it was excruciatingly consuming and impossible not to get lost in, it was mine… and now it’s yours. ♥️ I hope you love it as much as I’ve loved living it. You can preorder the album this Friday ♥️ and there’s a new song Living proof that comes out with the pre order this Friday 😭 one of the first and one of my favorite songs I wrote for the album. WHOAH. Overwhelmed. ♥️ OH MY GOD AND A TOUR!!!!! North America, verified fan sign ups for #TheRomanceTour are happening right now!! It’s gonna be magic, I can’t wait 😭 More dates to come”

    1. I feel you. 😂 I felt like she was setting herself up to fail with the title to begin with. It feels too ambitious. Now, they’re doing it again with this cover. I get that they’re going for big and classy putting her in that dress but it just looks tacky and cheesy. She didn’t lie when she called herself shameless. 🙈

  1. A MESS!
There’s too much visual information, it is not memorable, and definitely not polished.
And it gives me “Camila” vibes with the shameless pose and messy hair and bare feet and whatever. I feel like they wanted it to look “relaxed and cool” but it is not.
And romance doesn’t have to do with ****** love. A picture of a freaking flower would have conveyed a more accurate meaning.
