Come through, Calvin Harris.

According to MTV UK, Harris struck up a conversation with a guy named Filip Odzak at a backstage bar in Sydney, Australia, in 2012. Odzak said his dream wedding song was The Spice Girls’ “2 Become 1.” Harris apparently made a gentlemen’s deal that night. If/when Australia legalized gay marriage, he would remix the iconic song.
Odzak shared a screenshot of a direct message he sent Harris since the legalization. “We made a deal – sealed with a handshake – that you would remix the Spice Girls’ 2 Become 1 when marriage equality was finally legalised in Australia,” he said. “Well, it just happened today. For five years I’ve been waiting for this! I’m very excited to hear what you do with the track to celebrate the occasion.” It’s got over 6,000 Re-Tweets and 20,000 likes.

Baby Spice Emma Bunton got in on it. “Let’s spice up Calvin Harris,” she told The Sun. “It would be fab for Calvin to remix 2 Become 1. It’s always been my favourite Spice Girls song and next week it will be 21 years since it was released as a single.”
Calvin has been on a funk wav as of late, so if he’s going to remix “2 Become 1” (he must!!!), then he should steer clear of that. I’m not here for disco Spice. I want an atrocious club banger or nothing at all.
Please. Please Tweet @CalvinHarris and remind him what’s up.
God blessed me with a well of vibes
