Bruno mars was just tossed a grenade.

This is really lame. Photographer Catherine McGann has filed suit against the pop star for posting a photo she took of Mars in 1989 when he was just three or four-years-old, TMZ reports. It’s baby Bruno channeling Elvis Presley. Mars did not receive permission to share it on his social media accounts, and McGann wants compensation.

As you can see, the photo on Instagram alone has racked up more than 1.2 million likes.

The photog is suing Bruno and his record label, Warner Music, for damages and all profits they earned from her photo.

It will be interesting to see what evidence McGann provides to prove that Bruno made a cent off the photo. I imagine the singer will file a counter-suit and bury McGann in legal fees and make her remember who’s got the 24K Magic, and who doesn’t.
