Britney is officially back on top! released a list of the most streamed music videos on their site, with “Womanizer” coming in at #1! In other words, “Womanizer” was the most viewed music video on MTV this year!

“We’ve compiled the Top 25 Music Videos of 2008, as determined by streams on No opinions, no rock criticisms, no bands you’ve never heard of (God forbid!). Just pure numbers – eDemocacy in action, as it were – because each click, in a sense, was a vote.”

10. Leona Lewis – “Bleeding Love”
9. Jonas Brothers – “Burnin Up”
8. Flo Rida – “Low”
7. Mariah Carey – “Touch My Body”
6. Danity Kane – “Damaged”
5. Britney Spears – “Piece of Me”
4. Chris Brown – “Forever”
3. Jordin Sparks (featuring Chris Brown) – “No Air”
2. Lil Wayne – “Lollipop”
1. Britney Spears – “Womanizer”

Additonally, asked their readers what their favorite album of 2008 was. With more than 16,000 votes (you’re welcome, Brit! Yeah, that sounded cocky. You’ll live), Britney’s Circus album topped the list coming in at, you guessed it, #1!

It really is her year! Now let’s wait for Billboard to change the rules again so she’s knocked down to #2. I’m still bitter.

Congrats, Brit!
