Britney, accompanied by her mother Lynne, visited celebrity lawyer Barry Tarlow’s office yesterday afternoon (see photo above) in an effort to regain most custody of her two sons Sean Preston & Jayden James. Britney, who plans on fighting for more custody from ex-husband Kevin Federline, is currently allowed two visits and one overnight stay with her two boys, while Kevin retains primary custody.

According to, “A hearing has already been set for September 16.” The hearings, which will end up costing Britney a million dollars+, will re-evaluate Britney’s current time with her sons, her progress, and if an increase in visitation is appropriate.

“Despite her recent troubles, Spears remains upbeat and reveals she has been busy experimenting with a new image and style in preparation for her career comeback,” reports the site.

Britney says the upcoming album is “more urban,” to OK! Magazine. “I’m working with producers who are just amazing. There is a fresh new energy,” she continues.

“The image factor is a little older too. The videos will be very different.”

The September 16th hearing is just one week after Britney’s rumored appearance / performance at the Video Music Awards, in which she’s been nominated 3 times including “Video of the Year.”
