She collaborated with writers for Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Lopez.
It’s been awhile…
Now that the “Pretty Girls” drama with Iggy Azalea is behind us, Britney is focused on creating new music. When she’s not looking forward to performing for the rest of the year in Vegas (heh), she’s teaming up with some of music’s greatest talents. Today (July 2), Britney joined forces with Canadian singer-songwriter, Chantal Kreviazuk, who assisted co-writing songs for Gwen Stefani (“Rich Girl”), Kelly Clarkson (“Walk Away”), Hilary Duff (“Outside of You”) and Jennifer Lopez (“A.K.A.”), Ian Kirkpatrick who co-wrote Hilary Duff’s “Outlaw” and “Night Like This” off “Breathe In. Breathe Out” plus Jason Derulo’s “Want To Want Me” as well as Simon Wilcox who penned Nick Jonas’ “Jealous.”
In other words… THE QUEEN IS COMING FOR WEAVES.
Kreviazuk and Wilcox posted snaps of their experience with Britney at the recording studio:
Here’s an example of Kreviazuk’s personal work:
Britney previously said she wants her next record to exude “artsy fartsy,” and with these skilled songwriters like Kreviazuk, Wilcox and Kirkpatrick, she has an exceptional shot at it. Perhaps she laid down vocals to a breakup song, considering she recently split from ex Charlie Ebersol. Whatever she sang, it was “killer,” and we look forward to hearing it.
Let’s not forget about promoting “Tom’s Diner” though, K Brit?
