Britney Spears Inspired Anne-Marie’s New Song “2002”

April 20, 2018 By Jordan Miller

Oops…! She did it again.

Oops…! She did it again.

Britney is one the inspirations behind singer Anne-Marie’s new tune, “2002.”

Marie co-wrote the track with Ed Sheeran. In it, the “Friends” singer mentions iconic songs that became popular nearly two decades ago, including JAY-Z’s “99 Problems,” *NSYNC’s “Bye, Bye, Bye” and Britney’s “…Baby One More Time” and “Oops!…I Did It Again.” A legend!

See what Exhale is saying about this.

“Oops I got 99 problems singing bye, bye, bye / Hold up, if you wanna go and take a ride with me/ Better hit me, baby, one more time,” Anne-Marie sings.

The songs help tell a story of the day Anne and a love interest fell for each other. I’m feeling nostalgic.
