Britney has the Midas touch! Her fragrance line with Elizabeth Arden has generated billions of dollars, her women’s lingerie line continues to make waves and she recently linked up with French luxury house Kenzo to promote their La Collection Memento No. 2′ campaign.
Queen isn’t done extending her marketing reign.
WWD reports Britney has teamed up with Epic Rights to launch a line of branded merchandise. It’s called The Britney Spears Lifestyle program (OMG we’ve all been a part of this for two decades already). It spans fashion apparel, hair care, accessories, exercise gear and electronics. It has a projected retail launch of spring 2019.
“I am excited to collaborate with Epic Rights to create a new contemporary lifestyle collection,” Britney said in a statement.
Manager Larry Rudolph also chimed in. “We see this new lifestyle collection as Britney’s next step in connecting with her legions of loyal fans around the globe,” he said. “Sharing her style and fashion sense through products she has developed is a testament to her authenticity as well as her commitment to and appreciation of the fans that have made it all possible.”
WWD adds one of Team B’s shared objectives is to “expand her brand presence in the marketplace on a global scale.” Epic Rights will assist in managing her e-commerce initiatives, which include Amazon.
I didn’t realize it yet, but this is why I didn’t attend Beychella. I had a feeling my savings would dry up for something like this sooner than later. I’m also super excited to see what kind of exercise-related merch Britney releases. I found her collaboration with Kenzo intriguing, but we know our girl loves her fitness and wearing a pair of short-shorts and a tank most days.
