Britney Is Working With Producer Esjay Jones On… Her EP!?

Jones claims Britney is working on an EP.

Producer/songwriter Esjay Jones will collaborate with Britney on her much-anticipated album EP.

While we impatiently wait to see if the song DJ Mustard will drop on Friday features Britney or not, a new crumb of information regarding her upcoming release hit the Internet. Jones is claiming the work she, Trey Vittetoe and Gina Schock will put forth for the Piece Of Me singer is for an EP… not a full-length studio album like we previously believed.

Typically, EPs feature 3-5 songs where as an album can house up to 20.

She Tweeted: “#2016 Ecstatic to be working on the @britneyspears #EP with the #DreamTeam @Trey_Vittetoe #ginaschock #britneyspears”

Jones also posted on Instagram: “ITS BRITNEY *****! ?? #2016 Just got #word that we are going to be working with one of my favourite #pop #artists of ALL TIME!!!! #BritneySpears can’t wait to get into studio with @subatomik6 @ginaschockofficial and make music with this #history #making and #changing #artist – HUGE #FAN ALERT ??? #Britney #britneyarmy #britneyspearsfan #writers #producers #UMPG #BMG #2016 #newyear #newprojects #project2016”

While we are a bit disappointed to learn Britney may release a shorter body of work, it is a different and exciting venture for her. Currently she has several songs with Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels in the works, so perhaps these recent recording studio sessions are in full swing for an EP by spring time.

Jones, who recently co wrote “Magic” featuring Nile Rogers and Brandy by artist Mystery Skulls, works with top producers and songwriters, including Mike Elizondo, JR Rotem, Soulshock, Mitch Allan, Toby Gad, The Underdogs and many more. Listen to some of Jones’ work below:

Her sound is a bit generic.
