A rough ‘Britney Jean’ demo emerges.

Britney’s eighth studio album is a bit of a stain on the pop star’s discography.

There’s definitive proof Queen B didn’t sing on some of the songs. Instead, producers used a ghost singer to generously fill in spots that Britney never ended up finishing. It’s so obvious that a few of the tracks are unlistenable, like “Passenger” and “Body Ache.”

Regardless, we’re in a position where anything is something; this is the longest time in between song releases ever, so we’ll take what we can get.

A demo of “Hold On Tight” surfaced this week. It reportedly features new unedited vocals and a different instrumental.

I might be rusty… but I’m not convinced it’s Britney singing here either. I’m going to need your ears and experience to confirm or deny.

Give it a spin below, then let us know what you think in the comments.

  1. I just hear less production ie you can hear more of the imperfections in her voice. I don’t know if it’s necessarily her singing every note as I did hear some parts that seemed to be sung by someone else
