Britney Spears’ relationship with the tabloids has always been tumultuous, but her beef with one magazine escalated this week when it chose to print photos of her honeymoon with hubby Kevin Federline.
The February 28 issue of Us Weekly will feature photographs taken during Spears’ supposedly private October honeymoon at a resort in Fiji.
“I am disturbed by the photos and article that appeared in this week’s issue of Us Weekly magazine, which they call my ‘private honeymoon album,’ ” Spears said in a statement released Wednesday.
Nanuya Levu Island (a.k.a. Turtle Island), where the couple vacationed, is known for housing guests in lodges that start at $1,975 per night, for being reachable only by sea plane or boat, and for having an airspace that is a no-fly zone.
