Updated: Police confirm 22 fatalities, 59 injured.

People attending Ariana Grande’s concert at the Manchester Arena on Monday reportedly heard two loud bangs being described as “explosions.”

Some Twitter users are reporting they heard either a gun shot or a bomb. However, sources are telling The Mirror it could be a speaker that blew during the performance. “The noises were heard at the end of the show,” they claim.

Local police tweeted people to “stay away from the area.”

Ariana’s rep confirms the pop star is “okay,” adding “We are further investigating what happened.”

UPDATE 1: Police have confirmed fatalities, though we do not know how many or what their cause of death was.

UPDATE 2: Via NBC News: “At least 20 people were killed and possibly “hundreds” of others were injures after one or more loud bangs were heard Monday night at an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena in England, multiple law enforcement told NBC News.”
