Boom boom baby! Britney will close out the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, in October.
Britney Spears will close out the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, in October.
I’m feeling nostalgic. One of my favorite classic “Britney” looks was her appearance as the Grand Marshal at Daytona for the Pepsi 400 in 2001, and Queen B is about to up her game.
Formula1 announced today (April 25) that Bruno Mars and Britney will take their shows to the Circuit of The Americas (COTA) the weekend of October 20-21. Bruno will take the stage that Saturday, and Britney on Sunday.
Bobby Epstein, Founder and Chairman of COTA, said: “We’re excited to welcome Bruno Mars and Britney Spears to this year’s United States Grand Prix stage. The pinnacle of motorsports, two global superstar musicians and all of the festive entertainment that comes with the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix defines the weekend as the greatest sports and entertainment celebration of the year. We are proud to host such an incredible weekend for race and music fans alike.”
Tickets will be available beginning this Friday. Tap here if you’re interested.
It’s worth mentioning 270,000 people attended the F1 US Grand Prix last year, so this is a very big deal. All eyes on Britney (and fingers crossed for new music)!
