Plus, R. Kelly performs on Good Morning America and Nicki Minaj lands on a random German club track.

My last shirtless picture of 2015 by @rukes i spent 2015 traveling all over the galaxy but I tried to stay fit and eat good but .. Actually I think I just have good genes cause I didn't do that much.. Also I never slept .. But I will no longer post shirtless pictures because I look like a douchebag with no shirt on all the time.. if you want me unfiltered – follow me on snapchat where I never wear clothes

■ Diplo had quite the year! He crafted No. 1 hits with Justin Bieber, has the most streamed song on Spotify with “Lean On,” was nominated for a Grammy and worked with Madonna on “Rebel Heart,” and he’s grateful for all of it.

Here are his favorite moments from 2015:

When I first got a chance to work with @madonna I didn't expect much to come from it. Maybe because she is one of the biggest pop stars of all time. I didn't think she would take me serious just another producer working on a huge album. I didn't expect to make a great friend for life and didn't expect to be such a big part of her record. She showed me a whole other level of dedication and old school work ethic when it comes to writing. I'm proud of the work we did. Those sessions were some of the most fun I have done to date. I played some shows and shot videos with her later in the year but going to the Met ball with Madonna was a highlight of 2015.

To see the impact of @majorlazer especially in Europe motivates me to work harder. I think our project means the most to places and cities in Europe that have a global feeling. Our music , we try and make it global, and still honest, and for everyone.. we did it completely independent and thats what makes it sweeter. This year was all about u the fans… Brussels was one of our biggest solo show to date ? thank you ?? ?: @shimizujones

It was a big year for both of us but really no one inspires me more than @skrillex. You might know him as the DJ god around the world but when I met him he was still living in the Kyoto Grand Hotel and working day and night perfecting a sound. Everything he has done was like something uncharted and we had a mutual respect for each other. We always learned from one another and we're always pushing to be one step ahead. I've seen him become the biggest DJ in the world and he did it on his own terms. He always thinks about his squad and keeps it DIY and punk at the same time. That is not easy…it's nearly impossible. Even though we had drasticly different sounds behind the scenes we have a similar hunger and I still get motivated every time we go in the studio. We both had a tough year in parts and I think both of us are gonna go even harder in 2016. Hopefully we finish a new album that is gonna break through even further. #jackü

2015 burning man was still my favorite festival of the year. Everyone is there to celebrate creativity expression..theres not a lot of people taking up space..everyone is a participant. I guess everyone goes for their own reason but as a dj and musician i spent all my time wandering around being part of other peoples parties and experiences. I played about 20 sets over 4 days from roots reggae at robot heart to golden era hip hop and miami bass on a truck rolling thru the desert. I played b2b with @skrillex and @walshyfire and got to hear music that i wouldn't normally be able to during the rest of the year ?:@dmahoneyphoto

Justin, Sonny, and I started this idea about a year ago and had no idea how transformative a song it would be for all three of us. It's a statement to where music can go in 2015. We both had detractors but i think the success of both our projects and the song shows everyone should take more chances in 2016. ?: @dmahoneyphoto

Mongolia ? This trip was a highlight of the year for me. I had the opportunity to go to Mongolia for a show. One of the first DJs to perform in Ulaanbaatar..one of my favorite shows of the year!! its still a place that I cant figure out. I did drink horse vodka…not sure what that was but it wasn't bad ?:@dmahoneyphoto..

Las Vegas became the home for solo shows and @majorlazer shows in the USA as we didnt do any proper touring. I feel like 5 years ago u could never predict that vegas was gonna be a trendsetter for music and night life..but it is..and its where I feel like the fans come out full force and even want to be challenged. The craziest shows of the year happened at Sunday night swim and mad decent Monday's … ?: @dmahoneyphoto

The LA Clippers have been my defacto team for the past 5 years since i lived in LA. I'm gonna ride for them. A last minute opportunity to make up a 12 minute half time show in 2 days was both insane and motivating. I don't think we could have done it better then this. Jack Ü is a sort of mash up of everything anyway and i think this video shows how it really is @skrillex @marawa @kekekenoo @listentokai

Our first tour of the year. We got to do so many things like visit Machu Picchu and take some time to enjoy ourselves. The energy in South America was a jumpstart for the whole year. I cant wait to bring the whole tour back there ASAP ?: @shanemccauley

Brazil is always crazy.."lean on" had only been out for 10 days … i guess i knew we had a big song when i saw this crowd in São Paulo go off so hard

■ R. Kelly performed “Backyard Party” off his new album The Buffet on Good Morning America:

■ German producer/DJ Rico Bernasconi aligned with producer Lotus dropped a new song titled “Make A Miracle” with Shiloh & Gravy and Nicki Minaj. However, don’t let the Nicki feature fool you… they lifted it from a 2010 Gucci Mane track, “*** in Crazy Places.”

Did we leave anything out?
