… a physical format.

UPDATE // JULY 2:

Beyonce and JAY-Z’s joint album is getting a physical release.

Queen B posted on Facebook that Everything Is Love is available for pre-order – the CD will be made available on July 6.

Not sure what to make of this, but I can sense the thirst for that No. 1!

UPDATE // JUNE 25:

The Carters’ new record, Everything Is Love, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 behind Five Seconds of Summer’s Youngblood.

It appears they’re dissatisfied with that, so to expose more people to their new music, Bey and JAY have made the album available to all Spotify users.

Meaning, listeners who don’t pay $10 per month for the ad-free version will still get access to the new tunes (previously, Everything Is Love was only available for premium users). Money moves!

EARLIER // JUNE 18:

I wonder how many fans ponied up $10 and subscribed to Tidal this weekend to stream Beyonce and JAY-Z’s new record, but are kicking themselves because it’s now available to stream on Spotify & Apple Music and download at Amazon Music. We love a business couple.

It’s worth mentioning Beyonce takes a dig at Spotify on album track “NICE.”

“My success can’t be quantified/ If I gave two fucks about streaming numbers, would’ve put ‘Lemonade’ up on Spotify/ f–k you, f–k you,” she sings. Guess she cares a little bit?

If you haven’t had a chance yet, listen to Everything Is Love below (sans Tidal subscription):
