Beyonce’s ‘Homecoming’ Live Album Debuts At…

Hey, did you know Beyonce performed at Coachella?

A question no one on the entire planet has ever asked. In fact, I think Beychella will play a significant role on planet Earth for the foreseeable future, so get used to it.

The global icon has extended her Coachella reign by releasing a film of it on Netflix, out now. She also surprise-released the live renditions of the tracks onto streaming platforms.

The 40-track album includes a live cover of Maze & Frankie Beverley’s 1981 classic “Before I Let Go,” as well as a new version of “I Been On.” It also features a sweet cover of “Lift Every Voice And Sing” sung by Beyonce’s daughter, Blue Ivy.

Other highlights include live versions versions of “Lose My Breath,” “Say My Name” and “Soldier” with Destiny’s Child, her duet with J Balvin and more.

According to a report from Hits Daily Double, Homecoming debuts at No. 7 on the charts with nearly 38,000 in sales plus streaming. People outside the BeyHive of course are calling it a ‘FLOP LOL,’ but to be honest the numbers are still impressive. It’s not new music and we’ve had a version of the live performance online for a year.

It’s also worth mentioning Homecoming is one of three of Beyonce’s Netflix deals worth a reported $60 million. Rumor has it one of them is the Formation World Tour.

Still winning!
