Beyonce’s ‘Homecoming’ Reportedly Submitted For Album of the Year At The 2020 GrammysSeptember 24, 2019
Beyonce’s live Coachella performance audio could help the singer win album of the year at the Grammys.
‘Homecoming,’ Beyonce’s 40-track live album from her jaw-dropping 2018 Coachella performance, was reportedly submitted to the Recording Academy for contention in the album of the year category.
If it received the nod, ‘Homecoming’ would become the first live album to be nominated in this category in 25 years and the first live album by an R&B star ever nominated in this category, Billboard reports. It’ll also be the first live album to do so this century.
Only 11 albums have received nominations for AOTY.
Beyonce has a rocky history with the Grammys, so this is definitely deserved.
