Always overthinking.

It’s rare that a re-working of a song sounds better than the original, but Bebe Rexha’s acoustic treatment of “I Got You,” the lead single off her upcoming album All Your Fault Part I (out Feb. 17), is the version she should have released first.

The remix is less radio friendly than the original; Rexha waters down the beat, injected refreshed tropical production and slowed it down/dirtied it up. Her desert-themed music video for the song would’ve fit quite nicely to it. Listen:
