17-year-old Bea Miller released the first single off her sophomore record.

Bea Miller’s brooding new single puts the 17-year-old in the driver’s seat.

Miller got her start on The X Factor with Britney Spears as her mentor, and she’s well on her way to becoming an A-list pop star. The Not An Apology singer is currently the opening act on Selena Gomez’s Revival World Tour, performing her hits like “Fire N Gold,” “Young Blood,” and soon… “Yes Girl.”

The song is written with Ilsey and Pop & Oak and gives fans a peek into the more adult sound she’s aiming for on her sophomore record which should drop later this year.

“I called the A&R from my label and said, ‘This song completely captures how I feel lyrically and musically,’” she told Fuse. “It has live drums, live bass and live guitar, and also has programmed instruments, and it melds together evenly and fluidly. I knew instantaneously that this was the song I was looking for.”
