Avril Lavigne Returns With

It’s back to black for Avril.

Despite revealing an unknown health scare back in 2014, Avril Lavigne is looking just fine in her new video for “Give You What You Like,” which premiered Tuesday afternoon (February 10) and is featured in Lifetime’s new film about some kind of high school babysitter/tutoring club turned ****** service. IKR.

Watch Avril’s new video after the cut:

It’s an extremely low budget affair for the almost 4 minute video, but somehow it fits the mid-tempo cut as Avril sits in a room darker than the “My Prerogative” mansion with a bunch of candles surrounding her. In between cuts of the pop punkstress looking like a witch straight out of American Horror Story: Coven, the visual is bombarded with a ton of scenes from Lifetime’s latest flick Babysitter’s Black Book. These beginning scenes make the film look like some Nicholas Sparks adaptation, but it’s actually about a group of high school gals, who turn their babysitting/tutoring club into an ****** service and sleep with all the DILFs in a small suburban town. Is that what the kids are really up to nowadays?

“Give You What You Like” is Lavigne’s fifth single release off of her 2013 self-titled LP, so kudos to her for keeping that campaign rolling regardless of her singles’ successes. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I think I’m gong to set a DVR reminder for Babysitter’s Black Book, which premieres February 21 at 8pm EST.
