The honeymoon is over.

Ariana Grande has revealed the title of her upcoming album in conversations with her fans on Twitter.

The emoji-loving pint-sized singer couldn’t stop sharing details of her new music after tweeting lyrics to a new song and not-so-subtly revealed her new album title, “Moonlight”.

“Moonlight” is the anticipated follow-up to her brilliant sophomore LP, “My Everything,” that cemented Grande’s status as one of pop’s leading ladies with a hit-filled tracklist and more than enough vocal runs to keep the Mariah comparisons coming.

In a cute exchange with her fans (or, as she calls them, “loves”) Ariana confirmed that it is both the name of a new song and the album itself. She then said she co-wrote the title track with Victoria Monet, who has had writing credits on Grande’s previous records.

The 21-year-old has been recording while on the road with The Honeymoon Tour and it’s shaping up to her most personal album to date – cue the tired “Britney Jean” jokes – after she broke up with Big Sean in April.

There’s no word on when the album will drop but she’s scheduled to be on tour until October so it’ll most likely be a Q4 event.

So, Ariana, there is no excuse not to release “Hands On Me” or “Break Your Heart Right Back” for the summer. K?
