Congratulations are in order for Ariana! The pop star’s surprise new tune, “thank u, next,” a slightly shady, mostly grateful ode to her past lovers, tops the coveted Hot 100 chart.

This No. 1, which finally dethroned Maroon 5 and Cardi B’s “Girls Like You” from the top spot, is Ari’s first chart topper ever. Hard to believe, right?

A couple of other stats for you: this is the first song to debut at No. 1 by a female artist since Adele’s “Hello” in 2015.

It’s also Ariana’s 11th Top 10 single.

And get this… according to @ChartData on Twitter, Ari is “the first artist in history to debut in the Hot 100’s top 10 with the lead single from each of her first five albums.”

“For once i don’t really have words,” the pop star said of the achievement. “i love u so much and thank u.”

Talent wins!
