Miley and Ariana’s friendship continues to blossom before our eyes. During one of her new interviews to promote “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart” with Mark Ronson, Miley said she’s keen on becoming closer gal pals with Ariana. She said something to the effect of wanting to take Ariana to the club and play their new songs together.

It’s worth mentioning the two have united on several musical projects together in recent years, including Miley’s Backyard Sessions and at Ariana’s Manchester benefit concert.

Ariana caught wind of the Miley love, so when she inserted herself into the Kanye West x Drake beef, the singer reminded fans she and Miley both have new music out and to focus on that instead. Read more about that here.

It appears Miley is inspired by their rekindled friendship. The Younger Now songstress performed a cover of “No Tears Left To Cry” in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.

Miley’s smokey tone creates an entirely different feeling for the Max Martin-produced track. She pushes the vocals harder in places where Ariana chose to keep things calm, and spaced out the words for emphasis. Ariana gets criticized for not pronouncing the words in her songs, but Miley more than makes up for that. It’s quite a treat.
