Ariana Grande was trolling through some fan accounts on Instagram and saw a picture she believes is either fake or very old of “her” in the recording studio.

“I’m pretty sure dis is very old or fake,” Ari wrote on the photo in question in a story on Insta. “If u wanted confirmation I’ve been workin why didn’t you jus ask?”

She decided to take matters into her own hands and share an actual snap of her working on new tunes, as well as a sparkly video. Hows about a song preview next, Ari? I asked!

What do we know about Ari’s Dangerous Woman followup? For starters, she had said ages ago it was “done.” That’s clearly untrue, which is very exciting that Ari has decided to continue developing it.

the record will most likely contain around 10 songs in total. “The label was like, ‘please try to keep it to 15 tracks,’ and I was like, ‘I have 25,’ and they were like, ‘not gonna happen,’” she told fans in a Q&A this past summer. “I think the next one I’m gonna make it shorter. I’m gonna make it like 10 just to make it count.”

One of those 10 tracks could feature production from Yung Berg A.K.A. Hitmaka. He’s responsible for Big Sean’s “Bounce Back,” Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill’s “Buy A Heart,” Chris Brown, Usher & Gucci Mane’s “Party,” Lil Wayne and Rick Ross’ “John” and many more. The producer recently opened up about that in a new interview – you can watch that here.
